I contacted Support team through the support page and I was just wondering if the email I get is real. Reason to that is, I read that the emails you get from support shouldn’t have live links in them. The first email I got was about the support ticket going through, and had this: “Can’t wait? Visit our Knowledge Base!” With those last two words being live link.
Next one I got was this:
“At the present time, we are unable to verify your ownership of the account in question because the information that you submitted does not correlate with the billing details that we have on file. Please help us complete the verification process by providing the following information:
If the payment was attempted by credit/debit card, please provide the last 4 digits (ONLY the last 4) of the credit/debit card used
If the payment was attempted using PayPal®, please provide the invoice ID or transaction ID from your PayPal® payment history for the transaction
The billing address for the method of payment used"
And it was signed by GM Omega, with live link to the support.
I didn’t give any information, ‘cause it sounded bit odd to me, just asked if there was any other way to prove it’s my account, and I got this:

We’ll be happy to help you, but first we need to get a bit more information from you in order to verify your ownership of this Guild Wars 2 account. Please reply to this e-mail and include:
Date of Birth
Phone Number
Your street address

I’m not writing the links here, just to make sure that if they are some weird thing, no one accidentally would press it. Are these real GM’s or has somehow my support ticket ended up somewhere wrong place?
Just crashed.. can’t get back in. Anet, please, fix this, it’s annoying. All this happens every time you have big update…

After the patch, my own guild has been having the same problem most players have: Guild chat doesn’t work, everyone keeps getting the text saying they ain’t part of the guild. The only thing that works is by putting our character on invisible and then back online status, but it has to be done again every time you log on and each character.
Also, this morning (I’m on EU) when I logged in, I noticed out guild upgrading system is messed up, my guild has the upgrade that allows us to build two things at the same time, but it only builds one.
I would’ve reported this inside the game, but after the new patch my support thing shows only numbers, so I don’t even know what I would be reporting.

I play on US server but I’m from EU myself. I logged on the game and even before loading screen was done, I got dc. Then I got back in the game, after 10 min I dc again and noticed POI and Task (heart) was undone. I went to get that POI again and to do the task and got dc again, they were undone again. After this, I was standing still and got dc 3 times in row. I had to get out of the game ‘cause it’s unplayable. All this happened in Iron Marches map.
I figured out the missing task, there used to be task at the bottom of the Wayfarer foothills, you go in cave where the vista is. That task was apparently taken out totally ’cause me and my friend finished the whole map with our new characters. Also there is 2 new tasks added to Plains of Ashford and one new at Caledon forest.
The problem I noticed with my friend is with new characters, for some reason when you are trying to complete maps, the game doesn’t show all the tasks. I have characters that have the whole world map completion done and I know where tasks (heart events) are supposed to be. I was running on Wayfarer foothills, level 1 -15 map, and some of the tasks just won’t pop up with my new character, same happened to my friend. I have to say that on this update, Anet made a mistake, this whole new “better” way of teaching new players is only confusing and full of bugs.
Kyuuketsuki you have a character that was not 80 before the update but OH SO CLOSE now, can you please level to 80 and see if you start getting the skill points each level?
I did level to 80, got 6 skill points from it. Then I leveled again and got 1 skill point. Hopefully when you are lvl 80 and level up, you always get that one skill point.
Same happened to me. I also noticed the skill “bug” while doing daily achievement. I leveled from 75 to 79 with my engineer and no skill points. I asked on Lion’s Arch map chat and I was told by few players that apparently the new system doesn’t give skill points the same way, it gives them at some specific level (no idea what levels) and bunch at the time.
I also talked to my friend about this, and he said that he got skill points with leveling his level 80 character.
I’ve tried to find out about this new skill point thing for hours now and couldn’t find any information about it from gw2 page. There is no information on the patch notes,so in my eyes, this is really annoying and bad bug. Or mistake from the person who wrote the patch notes.
I hope we could get some kind of an answer to this ’cause this is really frustrating.
No, wasn’t on overflow. Also, I noticed, two of my characters can’t represent any guild, my third character can represent any guild and can access guild warehouse without problem. I haven’t checked rest of my characters.
Edit: I just tried something, first stand down from the guild, then go to Hoelbrak (use this waypoint: Eastern Watchpost Waypoint), try represent, if it doesn’t allow, then use the portal next to you, that takes you to the Wayfarer foothills (low lvl map) and then click represent. This way I was able to fix it, and it fixed the same problem for my boyfriend.

Hello everyone!
I noticed after the new update, I have problem where I can’t represent a guild. It shows me in my boyfriend’s guild, but I can’t access guild warehouse and so can’t he. I can’t represent any of the 3 guilds I’m in.
I tried to the trick where you go to Hoelbrak waypoint, but it didn’t solve the problem, so I’m asking if anyone else has the same problem and has anyone figured out how to fix this?
