I have the same issue, but with Carcharias (the spear precursor). You can buy again the chest with the recipe you need, from Grandmaster Hobbs, but the bug stays even if you learn the same recipe with multiple professions (I did it with Huntsman and Artificer). I see only the legendary inscription.

- no disconnection;
- no FPS issue;
- the story seems to be interesting, and our character’s voice was a very nice surprise;
- I played Revenant; at times, the head of the character seemed to turn in the wrong direction while running, and especially when going down a corridor;
- the activation time for glider seems too long; I hope ANet still works on it;
- liked the new creatures;
- Mastery UI was a bit confusing;
- The Wyvern was a fun event, but too easy.
Overall, I am impressed in a positive way.

Just happened to me, I guess it’s a larger issue.

Thank you for the update, ANet. Hopefully, the fix will come soon, because the situation is getting worse. Even using VPN, I got stuck in Diessa Plateau with a character…The new episode of LS will probably require us to move from map to map, and I really hope this will be possible.

Because this specific IP (the server the map is hosted on) is throttled by your ISP.

Then why I can unlock a char by guesting, using the same ISP? I change absolutely nothing, I am just guesting.

If you get around this problem using a VPN service, then this is clearly an issue with your ISP lacking network neutrality. I’d then recommend unsubscribing from your current ISP for disrupting network neutrality and change to an ISP who upholds and wards network neutrality.

Complaining that this is 100% Anet’s fault and getting frustrated is NOT going to get you back to playing….the above just might.

NOTE: The above should also have the side effect of fixing the recent issues with many overseas players that have BLTP lock up issues…..this has already been proven to be a DNS related issue, so I am hopeful the above may clear up at least some players “zone load lock up” issues as well. Fingers crossed.

I AM using public Google DNS, I have the same error using it or not using it. Maybe for some, it works, not for me, and many others.

My character was “saved” by my fiance, who logged into my account and moved it in another map. Since then, no problems with that one. Now, another character gets stuck while entering Queensdale, from time to time, but I am able to move it after just a couple of minutes…Sigh.

Hello, I’ve made tickets, and haven’t got any useful and definitive answer. I think it’s unfair for us to be like this, hoping “if I log, will it work? will I be able to play?” While we had to wait, like, a week? To get an answer? And still not fixed?

I think, we are the minority, and it’s not worth it to rush when another big event is coming. ’Cause another bug (any other) is always fixed in less than a day.

All this like reseting modem, trying from another computer, may work or may not, but it won’t be definitive.

Yesterday while I was playing I got kicked and couldn’t come back.

We tried to make a Dungeon, I got stuck (with another toon).
So, we decided to go another place to get a jp (with another toon) – I got stuck
So, we decided to go on a lowbie to complete DR (SO BORING) – a friend got stuck…

Come on, it ruined the spirit of doing anything, even my guild. I am a guild leader and my people is leaving.

I will be playing WoW like I used to, hope this gets fixed soon so it may return my willing to play.

I am not so sure we are just a small minority, we managed to detect the problem because we play constantly, daily. Maybe many more have issues like us, but because they log in once per month, they have no idea yet about it.
I agree that I don’t feel anymore enthusiastic about playing the game. Expecting to get stuck at any moment, with any character, is not appealing to anyone. Plus, I am working now on a legendary. Plus, I always bought gems, which I don’t feel like doing anymore.

I found how to solve the problem, simple and recurrent among the games : run it in administrator mode, that’s it.

It worked for me, for …20 seconds, then the same error appeared and got kicked out of the game. I disabled earlier my antivirus, closed all other computer programs, and used Google DNS, without a single result.

Unfortunately, the patch didn’t solve my issue. Now, another character got stuck in Lornar’s Pass….and I really wanted to level it today. So far, guesting on another server doesn’t work. This is starting to become frustrating.

Keep trying….it took me 2 tries for each character, and I tried on 2 different servers. Maybe try on a server with a lower population density, who knows?

I managed to un-stuck my characters by guesting on a different server. I forgot to mention that:

ISP: Romtelecom
Region: Romania
Server: Fort Aspenwood

Happened to me as well, for the first time. Can’t take my 2 characters that are in Malchor’s Leap, they got stucked there. I get DCed after this message from the game.
