I have a level 80 Revenant Sylvari that I completed the HoT story before deciding to do the personal storyline. I cannot proceed with personal story at all. Once in the instance for Awakening, there is the green circle indicating where to investigate. Once you approach and kill the trolls it turns into a green star for the salve. You cannot approach and collect the salve due to an invisible barrier. I remember there being a troll leader to fight in the past before you could collect it. He is not there now. I would really like to get this personal story completed. Looks like this issue has been going on for over a year for people… Please find us a work around.

No Wurmslayer pieces. It was all crafted ascended cleric. I think one of the insignias was bugged. At least I only wasted 2.

I destroyed all the insignias just now and started with fresh ones. Fixed.

I have those in my inventory as well.

I used an Anthology of Heroes to change my Ascended Crafted Cleric Chestpiece to a Verata Stat Ascended Chest piece. Since then I cannot change stats on any of my other gear. After the first piece was completed, I still had a Verata Ascended Insignia in my inventory. I have tried using another alt to make the changes and still nothing. I am a bit angry that I have wasted hours trying to resolve this and there has been no resolution. Not to mention I have permanently changed a piece of my ascended armor set. I have the insignias, ectos, and the Anthologies as well as the armor in question is no longer equipped. How can I fix this?

I did not have a weapon active. Now I am annoyed.. I’m not new to the game and tried all conceivable ways to have it be available to me. Thanks for responding to the past but your question does not answer nor fix the issue… Perhaps I should have been more clear in the first post about what I was or was not wielding in the first post… Oh and on a side note, weren’t we supposed to keep the skills we previously unlocked? All I had left was the first 2 skills. Hmmm

Myself and 2 other guildmates were excited to get into the Super Adventure Box. When we got to the boss that unlocks the Glove Skill we eagerly slaughtered him. The other 2 members of my party were able to pick up the glove skill. I walked over to get mine, received a message saying WOW and a brief description of the skill but nothing else. We could not proceed in the adventure, because it required all 3 of us to have the glove skill. I looked over and over in the room and died many times trying to get back to the drop point. Nothing. I finally had to leave the party so the other 2 people could continue without me. To say I am very disappointed is an understatement. This kind of “glitch” or bug really should have been caught before release.

I seriously doubt I will do anything more in the Super Adventure Box as the people I group with are far ahead of me now. What a waste… Coins and time down the toilet.

I did a bug report but who knows how long it will be before its actually addressed.

The level 20 scroll is a complete waste for me. I have 8 level 80 characters (one of each profession). I made them at launch. I appreciate that A-Net is giving us items for achievements and for being long term players. However, they should be more realistic. With over 10k achievement points, I really do not have a need for 10 of these scrolls. How about an option to put them into the mystic forge?

They just do not seem like a well thought out idea…. I can’t help but feel like it was added in at the last moment as an after thought.

I am also having this issue. It is now to the point I cannot do fractals or personal story lines. I was really wanting to play with my guild over the Holidays but it looks like I am not going to be able to stay connected long enough to do anything reasonable. As an officer in my guild, I really wanted to be present for the activities in game.

I have double and triple checked everything on my system. I have no viruses. All my software is current. I have done a full re-install of GW2 (grumbled as I left my computer for a long period of time to do yet another lengthy download). I do have an AMD video card and know all to well of the known issues with the flickering, video crashes and other random oddities. This is a combined issue between GW2 and AMD. Until I can purchase another card, I will deal with it’s issues. However, this connectivity issue is most definitely a GW2 issue. I can play any other online game and have ZERO issues. I don’t want to go play other MMOs. I want to stay in Tyria with all the other crazy Charr loving freaks I call friends.

Can someone please point us in a direction that can possibly fix this issue? Even a partial fix would make me happy at this point. I own 2 copies of the game, a digital deluxe and a collector’s edition. At this point the pretty extras mean nothing. All I want is the basic game to connect and function.
