Guild Wars 2

My laptop will randomly shutoff out of the blue when I’m playing as well. Its as if i just unplugged the battery from it. Just POOF and the whole computer shuts down. I have never been able to find a reason why because there is no crash report since my laptop shuts down. I’ve even run monitoring software to see if my gpu was overheating and everything is stable when it happens. If you search the forums you can find that other ppl have the same problem especially with specific asus models I think. But I’ve yet to find a solution or reason for the problem.

Okay so first off I have an HP Pavillion mx7 with Intel integrated hd 4000 graphics, an i7 and 8gb of ram. I have never been able to play GW2 because after playing for about 30 – 60 minutes my entire computer would just shutoff unexpectedly with no excessive heat or stress on the machine. I had read in the forums about others experiencing the same thing but never found a solution. I was wondering if a fix had been found for this?

Hi all! I just started playing and I must say this is a beautiful game. I really enjoy the very fluid combat system and the dodge mechanic, it’s unlike any MMO I’ve ever played before. So far I’ve only been playing by myself and I have only encountered maybe 10 or so other players in game. I’m sure this is do to the fact that I’m still in the starting area but I’d really like some other new and casual players to explore and adventure with. I’m an Asura Thief and I’m on Eredon Terrace.
