Dear Devs,
Once again the event is upon us and while I should be enjoying the fun in game I am not. Why? Well the lag was amazing, very well done, not to mention the constant DC’s (no it’s not my net connection as my wife sat behind me in the same district didn’t DC or lag)
So while the event goes on I will write to let you know how badly this is done and how poor the server state is. I would of though that after the Beta runs, testing and the 2 months of live game play this sort of thing should be worked out.
Don’t get me wrong I was a massive GW1 fan and I love GW2 to bits but this is just annoying. As a fan I would of liked to take part in these 1 time only events and enjoy all GW2 has to offer. However I found my self looking at a static screen and then DCing.
Very poor show Anet!!!
Hi all,
Something I have been wanting to see for a while is the inclusion of what crafting a character has taken on the Character Selection screen. This could be displayed where the current level, location and guild info is.
Hope this does get included in the game.
Thanks
I have the same problem. I have on-board sound and a Logitech G930. I can play the game fine with the sound set at my on-board sound in GW2 (Realtek High Definition Audio) If I decide to put my headset on I can switch audio in game to the Logitech G930 Headset and all is good, the audio moves over to my headset and stops on my speakers.
Now if I decide to put the audio back on my speakers I open the GW2 options again and select Realtek High Definition Audio but the sound doesn’t leave the headset. The only solution I have found to this is to quit GW2 and re-launch it.
Does anyone have any ideas why this happens and how to fix it?
