Does anyone remember the conversation between Job-O-Tron and a Norn in Southsun? The Job-O-Tron was trying to figure out what the Norn’s career was. There used to be a video of the conversation but I cannot find it anywhere. I loved it when the Job-O-Tron concluded that the Norn had delusions of grander and was was a hobo. Made me laugh every time.

Solo-Instance for Dungeons

Being able to play solo was the best thing about GW1 for me. I played through almost all content of GW1 on my own with my heros.
I’d be super happy if they would add a solo mode so you can play on your own terms with whatever build and class you like.
There are many single player games that have optional coop play, why not have a multiplayer game with optional solo play.

I agree completely with this post! Heros would allow players (like myself) who would rather play solo or with one other person do dungeons and you wouldn’t have to change the dungeon itself. Building heros in GW1 was a very unique challenge and creating a hero party that worked well took skill. I would welcome that in GW2.

The New Dailies -- Feedback welcome

I HATE the new daily system. Putting daily events in one area only is the asinine.

I just spent the the last hour in Kessex trying to do daily events. I have 2 done because the last 6 I raced to like a lunatic I couldnt get credit for because they were done in seconds or you cant get a hit because of the mob of 80s there hitting everything that spawns.

It sucks and makes this game very frustrating.

I agree. I’m a casual player and I don’t have a lot of time to play. Logging in to do my dailies was a fun way to play in the short time I have. This new system with the events has made the process frustrating. I’m in PVE and yet I feel like I’m competing with other players just to get in hits to get credit for an event. Map chat has become hostile with people getting angry because events are not being called or the events are finished before everyone can get there. I think this goes against the kind of supportive environment and community that GW2 was trying to build. All they have to do to fix it is open it up to regions like Kryta, Ascalon, etc. I truly hope this will be addressed.

Can Axe/Axe be viable? I'm trying...

you guys really have no idea what you talking about.. Axe Axe is so strong if you choose 30 0 20 0 20 traits with sharpened axes and 10% crittical damage plus cleansing IRE you have perma adrenaline and perma fury, and unlimited used of BURST skills. I use them with GS and trust me the damage is absolutely amazing. When you use Eviscerate and switch to GS use 100b and use Arcing slice by the time you change back to axe you have full adrenaline again and the count down on Eviscerate is not even over. I got my fury over 1.20 min. Also I keep switching back and forth with GS and doing Whirling axe and 100B plus 10 sec fury on Dual Strike.

Thanks for the great info! I love dual axes and was a bit dismayed by the other posts. I play PvE and I’m just looking to have fun and enjoy the game. After reading your post I’m going to tweak a few traits. Much appreciated!

Norns have some cool tattoos that you can choose during character creation but it would be nice for all races to have tattoo options. It could be sold for gems and/or drop in Black Lion Chests just like the makeover kits. There could be various designs and colors to choose from.

I agree. GW2 was/is different than other MMOs. I liked being able to solo or play with just my boyfriend. I think bringing back Heroes for dungeons would be a great way to do it!

I agree that there should be a solo/duo/trio option for dungeons or simply adding scaling…
“Guild Wars 2 takes everything you love about Guild Wars 1”- From Manifesto video, yet we lost that ’’freedom’’ of doing dungeons the way we like.
I do understand this is an MMORPG, but GW2 is different compared to other MMORPG’s and thus we interact with players in the world in a different way…that doesn’t mean being anti-social…it gives quite different, yet good feeling. Forced grouping is what I dislike and I like doing things at my own pace and with one or two friends.
I am a great fan of dungeons, but forced grouping really puts me off…
And like Pip said in the post above, normally pugging turns out being bad…I really don’t need that ’’stress’’…I want to enjoy the game fully…
And to be honest, I really feel like exploring dungeons more, rather than speed-running through them because the team demands it…I also want to see the cinematics, admire the dedication devs put into the dungeon…
In GW1 I had this freedom, I had this feeling…I felt like adventuring and venturing into a dangerous, deep, dark dungeon…and it was very rewarding in the end and it gave me that epic feeling, especially when I do it on my own with just heroes.

And people, please…a little understanding here…
Just because we want to enjoy the dungeons at our own pace or with 1-3 friends, that doesn’t mean you have to ’’shoo’’ us to Skyrim or some other games.
I don’t see why would it hurt ANYONE if an option was added to dungeons for those who want to play this way? You can still group up with a team of 5 and enjoy the dungeons just like you are enjoying them now.
