Guild Wars 2

Despite being a roleplayer on a lower populated server, I wasn’t too worried about this update before it came. Boy, was I wrong. The fact that we’ve already seen issues with being placed on the same maps within guilds and friends circles is very annoying, but what’s even worse for me is that I can’t visit any of the cities without lowering my settings to a place where the game starts to look pretty darned ugly, or I’ll have to suffer horrible lag.

I honestly do not understand why you’re including the cities in the megaservers at all? Out in the world I can see the merit of running into more players, perhaps, but in the cities? All it does is clog up the space for us with older computers, making it close to impossible to play at all. This is very disheartening, especially upon hearing that its “all working as intended”.

I spend quite a lot of real money on my gems, upgrades and fashion, and right now it feels like all of that has been to a waste.

This is all giving me serious flash backs of Star Wars Galaxies debacle with NGE. I really hope it doesn’t end the same for Guild Wars 2.
