I would pay money to be able to change into a mini-mushroom just like at the west gate of Tarir! All I want to do is run around as a tiny fungus and enjoy the experience! You can even disable it during the octovine event if you don’t want it to be confusing!

Phase 2: You must have DPS and be coordinated for this. If you do not DPS her down to say 40% you still have to get the sparks into their spots when she goes invuln before she heals to 60% health. If you manage to do this, she will stay in phase 2, if you don’t, she will return to phase 1 and you must do it over again.This is why everyone says it is a DPS check. If when she enters phase 2 you are able to DPS her down to say 25-30% health you have enough time to get the sparks into their spots, pretty much regardless of the circumstances. If you lack the necessary DPS, which my first group did and second group nearly did, it is almost impossible to do this, or is excessively slow going, as in my second group.
This is not a bug. This is a boss mechanic. I get that you’ll say “But every time at exactly 50%-”
But it’s every time at exactly 50% if you did not manage to get the sparks into their spots before she heals above 60% health.
Ok, so question number 1: If she goes above 60% health when healing then she can’t go below 50% again?
Addressing Point number 1: We often got the sparks in before she hit 53% or 54%. When she would reappear it would, literally, take 5-10 seconds before she would re-invulnerable at exactly 50%. Not one pixel lower. After two hours of trying this boss we got very good at getting the sparks in.
We knew ahead of time the idea of the DPS mechanic and the “3 steps forward and 2 steps back” aspect of the healing. We were OK with a boss that was challenging or even a long fight. We had absolutely no problem with any other aspect of the dungeon and we didn’t have any problem with her, except for her bugging. She never killed us, we either stability-blocked the petrification or teared it, and we had no problem getting her dpsed down.
I wish now that I had frapped the fight so I could demonstrate the difference between a successful attempt and the bugged version.

The Simin bug 50% bug has been known for a while. Is there a fix incoming soon? The bug wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t for the 2h dungeon before it and being the final boss and all. It’s like running a marathon and then finding out at the end that they had canceled it due to rain.
For those who have not had the pleasure of seeing the bug first hand the bug makes it so that Simin never enters phase 2. Which would normally happen when she reached 50% health. Instead she stealths, invulns, and then resets to phase 1. Thus, you never get to the customary 45 second window to kill her because every time you get her to 50% she invulns and stealths.
You know that you have the bug when the following things happen:
A) You can DPS her fast or slow to 50% but at exactly 50% she stealths and invulns.
B) When she reappears from stealth there is no 45 second window. You can leave her alone and she will eventually heal all of her health. Or you can DPS her like crazy or DPS her slowly. You can DPS her for 10 minutes, if you want, and she won’t go back into stealth as long as her HP is above 50%.
C) No matter how fast you DPS, how long it takes you to do it, or where you are in the cave she stealths and invulns at 50%.

Hey Everyone,
There are titles for many things. I especially like the support oriented titles (e.g. Combat Healer). I would also like titles for major accomplishments. My ideas were:
1. A title for obtaining an 80 of each class.
2. A title for completing all of the jumping puzzles in the game (like the Dungeon Master achievement).
3. A title for successfully building a legendary weapon.
What other achievements should have a title?
I LOVE the SAB. I love the exploration, the combat, the nostalgia, and the sound track. Great job Anet. I do have a question about the SAB real world chests, however.
I know that the SAB chests in the game world were an April Fool’s day event. I’m curious about why they were only an April Fool’s day event and if they could be re-introduced with the mid April patch. While I love spending hours in the SAB my friends don’t so why not let us kill 8-bit bunnies in the Genderran Fields?

P.S. I figured that we don’t get xp for the SAB because one (or two) shotting a creature doesn’t count as adequate challenge. How did you disable the XP though?

1) Placing a limit of 250 items is time is ineffecient for most of the items that I buy and sell. My guess, however, would be that a limit was set to prevent botters from being able to make mass transactions rapidly, prevent players from ordering 2000 rather than 200 of an item by accident, and a database restriction (i.e. it’s harder to keep track of larger orders). So, I understand if it doesn’t happen but I would appreciate an indicator of if it’s even possible or being considered.That is almost certainly wrong. It would be easier for the database to deal with fewer orders. Bigger numbers doesn’t really give a computer much difficulty but more data to process can. Very very large numbers might need additional handling but who has the gold to put and order for 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 items?
2) The ability to see the number of transactions of an item over the past 24 hours would be a tremendous tool for gauging the viability of an investment. I understand that it is simply not feasible for the game to process and constantly update values for all items on the TP. That would be ridiculous. But, perhaps we could get a value since the last server reset? I understand that it would be of limited use when the server switches over but it would increase in usefulness as time since the server reset lapsed. Then, I am certain, that certain websites that we all know and love would be able to keep track of the items sold for us.
You can do this already. It just means that you have to take risk to find out what prices things will sell at. I don’t think requiring the person who is going to benefit the most from the information to take the risk to find out is unreasonable.

Interesting response to the first point. I had not thought about that perspective.
While this is, indeed, a suggestion. I posted it here more for the discussion. I don’t actually anticipate any developer interaction. I am just hoping that I am not alone in these requests.
May I ask that the “error on trading” be fixed also. Extremely frustrating to get that error after putting up 3 items on the TP. log all the way off, log in, post 3 items, get error, rinse and repeat.

Mesket: You think this game’s economy is intense? Try EVE Online. Once you can play the market in EVE you should be able to handle Wall Street! :P
Drawing Guy: I wish I was rich. But, honestly, the profits of the TP are found in a mix of volume and high profit margin, but slow sale, items. Crafting can be profitable but you have to do your research and follow the trends on particular items (e.g. check out Berserker’s Reavers).

I tried to make the thread title “John Smith, May we please have a few updates to the TP” but the forum wouldn’t let me!
I am pursuing my legendary and have found the TP a delightful mechanism for realizing my financial goals. There are several aspects, however, that I believe would make the TP more efficient for market traders. I’ll list them here first, as a TL;DR, and then explain them below.
1) The ability to place orders for more that 250 items at a time.
2) The ability to see how many units of the item were traded in the past [X time frame].
3) The development of a special “holding cell” where I could pick up items and relist them, while at the market, but without the items moving into my inventory.
Thank you for reading the requests. I also appreciate, by the way, the fact that you’re involved in the community on the forums and that you don’t treat the vocal minority of the forum community as a representative sample of the entire population!

Will there be any other items to purchase with the Wintersday rewards (sweaters, socks, and wool hats)? Or are the ones on the vendors the only ones that will be there?

P.S. Could we get an official stat for what percentage of accounts successfully completed the Mad King’s clock tower? I had seen a projection that only 5% were expected to finish it.
