Ok, after trying multiple options of repair, I decided I should just try upgrading to windows 10 (I’ve planned doing this a long time, but had problems doing until now). This acctualy worked, but I still didn’t find out what caused the problem from the start. Thanks for the answer anyways!

Recently, my game has stopped working, and I have tried repairing it for a day now. I don’t know how this happened, I was just opening the game as normal. The only unusual thing I’ve done was changing the language, but I don’t see how that should have affected the ability to launch. The launcher itself works fine, but when I press play, the game doesn’t start, neither shows up in task manager. It’s like it is self terminating right after starting, but nothing comes up. I’ve also tried fixing the client, didn’t work. If anyone knows how to fix this, please tell me! My friends just got the game, and I don’t want their experience of the game to be affected by this.

Ok, I’m back, and all I had to do was parkouring a bit on the top of the cages, and unlock them form the top/side. Thanks to Inculpatus for the good tip!

Ok, so I just rerolled a sylvari character, and in the lvl20 personal story (Beneath the Waves instance) I think I met a bug. First part went good, I helped Tegwen finding her friend (and others), got the keys from the keymaster krait, but then, as I were going to open the cells, nope. I couldn’t open the cells what so ever, checked if Tegwen still was with me, even tried again with a friend, still no option to unlock the cells. I have tried the same instace 5 times now, and I’m pretty sure it’s either a bug, or I’m just doing something horribly wrong. Anyone else with this problem? If I’m just doing something wrong, please tell me :\
