[PAL] is recruiting for war!

Primi Agminis Legio (Latin; translates literally to “Vanguard Legion”) is a newly founded guild. We are recruiting for open field combat in WvW; especially zerg busting. [PAL] will be focused on PPT for the server by way of open field fighting. Any guild that can take on twice their numbers in the open field can easily defend an objective until more help arrives against even a map call blob and that is what we are striving for.
[PAL] has been founded by Sniper and myself for this purpose. You can expect a very high level of coordination with only a small learning curve. If you can dodge roll, remember your numbers, and use skills at the appropriate time then you too, can bust zergs!

100% rep an issue? Not for us! We only ask that our members be present and accounted for when we make our pushes three times per week. This means that you will be repping [PAL] during our guild pushes in WvW. This also means you can be in any other guild you wish and still smash some faces with us! Note that while we are not strict on repping at the moment, we will have to let go of any members who are consistently absent for raids and guild meetings.

What can you expect from [PAL]?

- A high level of coordination. Every skill that we zerg bust with is accounted for and assigned a grouping. It is with this system that we can sustain through map blobs.

- A detailed blueprint, complete with builds and composition. This blueprint, coupled with our coordinated system, allows us to be a force of destruction in nearly every circumstance.

- Competent leadership. What? Just competent? Well, “competent” means “having the necessary ability, knowledge, or skill to do something successfully.” We do not claim to be amazing leaders or battlefield commanders of the same ilk as Robert E. Lee and Alexander the Great, but we know what needs to be done and how to do it.

- Bags. Like, just all the bags.

- Professional builds. Yes, I mean professional. We’re talking builds designed by some of the best open field guilds. Of course, these builds are modified for our system and the goals we aspire to.

How do you join [PAL]?

It’s easy! Just go to www.vanguard-legion.com and click the ‘Recruitment’ tab at the top and fill out the form! A leader will respond within 24 hours and update you on the status.

Please note that while running organized raids with [PAL] specific builds are very much required.

I’m going to let all of you on BP in on a little secret. If you continue to kitten here on the forums people will begin to focus you too. Ebay has a reason to make sure your points stay below theirs. YB really doesn’t benefit either way. If Ebay is focusing you it is to lock 4th place not because they are allied with YB. We are here to win no matter what. If Ebay becomes a threat then the focus I assure you will switch. Please stop all the 2v1 crap. Lets have a fun competitive match for the final round without all the finger pointing.

While Yaks and EB may have earned their place in the same category as SBI. They simply cannot beat us Straight up.

In this scenario: If SBI (#1) and DB (#2) make FA lose somehow, and YB manages to win next week, Silver league would have a 3 way tie at 31 points for first place.

That is very interesting to think about.

Now I’m curious to know if ANet has some sort of tie breaker in place if that were to happen.

Because all these events don’t affect both YB and EB.
Because similar events haven’t been reported in every WvW week ever.

If you really want to stretch it: SBI has way more casuals than anybody else that gladly jump on the bandwagon for wins but duck out by the week if they’re losing – especially if they have anything better to do. In which case be proud: your server is the most fickle server in terms of extremes.

It’s been an intense week, and SBI is definitely worthy of their position on the ladder… but its like SBI is insulted to be losing to YB… and no one respects a garbage attitude like that.

Unfortunately, I believe that to be true. I wish we could get people to show up, because that would make this week amazing, instead of just fun. Imagine if we were all fielding the same numbers at the same time, and our PPT was 1-5k apart? I know that with the unbalance on the servers that will probably never happen, but in the old days, those were always the best matchups.

I’m big on respect… anyone who runs with me or by my tag knows this..
Having said that… It IS still insulting to lose to yaks. BECAUSE SBI IS a better, stronger, more organized server. We not winning at the moment… But not because we didn’t open the week with a huge lead… not because of supply wasting trolls… definitely not because Yaks is better….
But because we are fielding 50% of what we normally do. EBG is almost ALWAYS a 1 hour que… there is no que.. SBI BL is normally QUED.. again.. no que.. The other 2 BL’s are normally medium que.. also… NO QUE.

We are missing ALOT of players. Yet still yaks wants to talk smack like they’ve beaten us straight up. They talk as if They have overcome the big RED SBI MACHINE.
They haven’t. They been beating up on pugs, militia and a handful of Die hard WvW guys.

So its nothing to be proud of but, by all means… brag away lol.

Yaks cannot beat SBI with what they have to bring to the table under any other circumstances than SBI being outmanned.

Again another SBI chest thumper crying because they have no Idea what to do… Unless you can que every map at all hours of the day. I have been involved in fights with many of the SBI guilds and have respect for several of them, but this garbage is what gets your server focused and crushed. You have no clue what it is you are saying. Both Yak’s and Ebay have lower numbers then SBI and we use our numbers wisely. Now since you only had 50% of your peeps on that should make your server better. Quicker response times more of your die hard guilds are able to map hop to fill gaps, but oh ya sorry I forgot you can’t do that because no one is on playing on your server. Please grab yourself a box of tissue and go cry in the corner son. We could care less.

Some great fights in YBBL tonight. Hats off to TE, DR, TOM, and Beast. That fight was awesome in the SW camp. You guys finally got us well played. We at [One] had a great time tonight, and are looking forward to the rest of the week.

In this match-up thread I see all this come out and play stuff. lol When we do come out and play SBI zerg balls need to number in the 80-100 range. We have wiped your big guilds up and down the maps constantly. Your answer? The funny part about it is your server wouldn’t hold a candle to servers with equal numbers. Even completely outnumbering an opposing server you get wiped. How can you brag about that? Sorry but it seems to me SBI will fall once again when you realize your numbers don’t mean anything when you are teamed against skilled servers with equal numbers. Here is a funny little fact for you as well. The last time YB and CD squared off if I’m correct is when we had Mag as a 3rd. Now in that match you awesome CD guys beat us by what 1k? This after Mag telling us they were focusing us to allow you to take second place. Funny Funny Funny. Now you are still saying you guys are so much better then us blah blah blah. When the truth is you guys have become what you hate lol. You ball into a zerg and sit on one BL. That right there = LOSS. You may have been better then the demoralized YB, or the YB that lost some big numbers over the past few weeks who knows. One thing is for certain you are not better then the NEW YB at all nowhere near. So please crawl back into your crib and I’ll have mommy bring you a bottle.

I’ve been on Yak’s Bend since about a month after launch. I have met tons of great people on and off the field. As well as met some great people on the opposing side that had nothing but great things to say about our server. With that being said in WvW we fight till the last during NA prime time we rock the maps. We take no prisoners and have fun doing it. We also respect all our adversaries. Our Alliance does not tolerate trolling other servers nor do we condone exploiting. We are missing one element to our success which is an EU/Oceanic/SEA presence. With that our server will be complete. So, as an Alliance commander here on YB I extend an invitation to any and all guilds looking for a great community in GW2. Come visit us on Yaksbend.com say hello in the forums and get to know some within our community. I can promise you won’t be disappointed with our response. Yak’s Bend has for the second time made it to T3 without a large EU/Oceanic/SEA presence we hold on by the skin of our teeth for the simple fact we don’t have coverage some of the other servers do. So all looking in can imagine the tenacious NA teams we have on the field. Come round out our server, and join the fun. We don’t strive to be in T1 we strive to be the best our server can be with hopes to succeed in any tier we are in.

Had a good night in CDBL, operating mostly on the eastern side of the map. That was some nice counter-treb placement inside Hills, I could never get the right combination of enough supply, the right timing, and the right positioning to take them out. If they’re still there tomorrow morning you can bet I’ll keep trying…

I was a lot of fun counter trebbing you guys. I saw a nice new treb position we had to take out with catas. Well done CD keep up the good fights.
