I don’t think there will be a perfect class to recreate Geralt in Tyria.

Seems to me like the Gw2-Geralt would be a combination between a thief and a engineer. Geralt fights quick and mobile like a thief, but also uses potions and bombs like a engineer.

Just to prevent misunderstanding: Laszlo.9634 is not my game account. I only keep using it when I am posting at the forum, because I can’t verify my game account at work. My game account is Skex.(forgot the numbers). May I drop a whisper once I’m at home? : )

We play mostly PvE but enjoy occasionally WvW. I play a little sPvP on the side when I am bored. We play at EU time, mostly in the evening and on weekends. We love doing dungeons. I am an altoholic and roam/explore most zones alone since my friends are playing mostly in Orr.

Actually it isn’t that bad : ). There were very few people to play with anymore and I was already looking at the forum and in chat channels for other players to play with. It is good to know that the case is closed now and I don’t have any obligations or guilt when it comes to my old guild. I am free to switch to which ever server I like and meet new people to play with.

To be honest, the last 2 days I have been jumping servers. Me and my three friends, the remnant of our old guild, are searching for a new server to make ourselfs at home. ATM we have no ties to any server.

looks like my guild is done for. : (
All the players play now fifa, borderland 2 or some other game I don’t know. The leader doesn’t even want to invite other Gw2 players anymore. So yesterday, me and the other three guys, who kept playing Gw2 were talking it out and agreed that we hit a dead end with our guild community.

I don’t know what server to settle on now, but one thing I know for sure: I don’t want to play Gw2 alone!

So the image I have from you guys is that you are a very casual, very relaxed community. Which fits pretty darn well because I like to play casual and relaxed with other players but have problems finding likeminded people. I like to socialize and love Gw2.

Bottomline: I would love to be part of your “OPERATION: UNION” and hope to hear from you guys!

Well, Kruunch, you are done. You have seen it all. There is no more content at this point. They added a few new jumping puzzles you could check out (If you have not done them all, there is a list of them on the wiki. They are fun and give achievements).

If you want to play more but seen it all, there is no alternative but to play it again or take a break.

Love the pumpkins. Love the lobby. Love LA. Incredible what they did, just for one week of the year!

I think you can group up with them (despite them being on a different server (in a different lobby)) and then you can right-click on their icon and select to join their game, select the same server as your friends or group up with them and register for a tournament.

I remember a Dev statement, where he explains that the spvp lobby is bound to your server to help build PvP-communities. However, there are no boundaries as soon as it comes to the games, tournaments or hot-join matches. Those are all across every server, iirc. The only thing bound to your server in spvp is the lobby.

If people want to play alone, that is what they do. You can’t force them to socialize. But you can reach out and look for likeminded players and play with them. : )

servers, like any other large community, are impossible to judge as “friendly”. As Garambola has said, reach out and socialize. You can also set your player status on “looking for group”. I always run around with the blue arrow (LFG) above my head and sometimes I get invited by strangers and we have a great time playing.

I wish you the best of luck with your choice.

And if the server you choose is full, try to select the server at less active times. I choose my server, that was constantly full, before I was going to work on a weekday morning, while the server was only marked with “Population: High” instead of full. Once I came home the server was marked as my homeworld.

at the moment, changing your home world is free and has a once every 24 hours limitation.

There are plans in the making for changing those conditions. In the future, changing your home world will cost gems. However, I assume, that Anet will announce this change in a reasonable time before implementation. Probably once their guessting feature is at place.

Let me just say that this is awesome! It is great to see a community rise up and put the multiplayer back into MMO.

Since it is a german server, I am not suprised to see no players from Riverside here =(
