House of Montague is looking for a few awesome people that aren’t looking for a Large guild community but more a few good friends to play the game with. We are interested in all aspects of the game and enjoy playing as a group or individually. We are currently 5 active members strong, we would like to double that and remain around 10 or so. We don’t want the drama or the politics of a large guild so if that is your thing please keep it to the large guilds. Mumble server and weekly guild missions. House of Montague is a small guild that has been together since launch. We have always been small because we like the comradarie between a few players instead of members feeling left out in larger guilds. At our peak we had 10 members most of which have stopped playing due to family or moving on to another game. Currently we are down to 4 active players who enjoy all aspects of the game. We are based on Sorrow’s Furnace server and are looking for mature active players that don’t want the politics of the large guild, and just want to hang out with other people that enjoy the game as much as you do. We are willing to share our knowledge of the game and welcome any knowledge you may have as well. Message me in game for questions or interest.

Hello fellow Tyrians. House of Montague is a small guild of friends that has been around since launch. At our peak we bad 10 people and we liked it small like that. Sadly most of our guildies have gone off to other games or got caught up in life. We are a PvX guild that likes to play together, give advice if needed or just talk on our mumble server. So far I have interest by several guilds. A lot of then are asking why I would do this, what prompted me to want to use my own guild as a hub for smaller guilds? The idea came when my small guild wanted to claim a guild hall. Only having 3 very active players out of 20 or so there would be no chance of organizing my own guild to do it. So I asked some in a larger guild if the would help. Some very generously did I also asked friends, lfg tool and map. In all we had 9 join us, which was enough, and I am very grateful for their help. The problem was it took the better part of 3 days to get everyone on board and set a time that was convenient to all. So that sparked the idea. There has to be more guilds out there like mine. Small yet comfortable can’t grow because no one wants to join that small of a guild or perhaps they just didn’t want to. All I am proposing is a coalition not an alliance an alliance makes it sound unified like I am asking you to join my guild for our own gain. Where as a coalition is for everyones own interests for a common goal, to grow our own guilds with the help of other small guilds.
I was just alerted that my post not only did not make the whole idea very clear but also that my guild would be put ahead of all other small guilds. That is not what I am striving for. First off let me be clear, I am looking for the small guilds of 15-20 or less. That are trying to grow but aren’t really making it. I propose an coalition of small guilds that have a central hub of communication. If you are doing guild rush and don’t have the numbers, you could guild chat into the guild and not only increase your numbers but we could represent your guild for the duration of the event and get extra favor for your guild. It is a tool for us to use to grow our own guilds. Would my guild benefit, of course it would. But so would any guild that joins.
While I wish you the best of luck in doing that, I feel I should express how hard that maybe. A lot of people in game are either A: in a large very active guild that requires 100% rep, or B: in multiple guilds perhaps one of which, as I am, a guild they started with some friends. As I said I wish you the best of luck and my aim was not to deter you, more to educate as to how hard this could actually be
As a small family guild leader I have found it difficult to keep my guild alive,I have tried recruiting, and I have also joined a larger guild to be a part of guild events. With some of the new multi guild updates with Heart of Thorns, and reading some other posts in the forums, I have realized that there are lots of people in my position. So here is what I propose. Why can’t we band together,not as a unified guild but as a coalition of small guilds. This way we can unlock guild content and run them for our respective guilds using people from other small guilds to give us the numbers and to represent our guilds while doing said events. For our part the “coalition” will be run under our guild and we will run our own events etc, and will be there as a central hub to find help for your events. This may have already been said, I dont necessarily have time to look at all the posts. But I just got out of a match in sPvP in which I usually hold my own 3-5 points captured, 11-15 kills etc etc. But d/d eles whip me every time. Its like I am not even trying, I get them half way down they finish their might stack, swap to water, heal back up to full, continue might stack. I play Ranger as my main (I can hear the distant boos) but I can 1v2 most of the time, but I cant take down 1 ele? How is that NOT OP? Sure it maybe just the celestial amulet but to nerf that would nerf some other fine builds in other classes. Just the humble thoughts of a casual gamer.
