PvE Raid Team up and running. Join us and then the raid team for fun runs in the evening.
A guild for PvE.
A guild for sPvP.
A guild for WvW.
A guild which enthusiastically takes on every new challenge Guild Wars 2 offers.
A company of friends who value each other’s time and dedication, while having fun. Together.
A organisation with vast MMO experience that provides its members the structure to achieve their game goals.
That’s us.
That’s Midnight Mayhem.
And you can join us.
An English speaking guild based on the European server Gunner’s Hold, Midnight Mahem accepts members from all over the world.
Midnight Mayhem seeks players with a mature attitude towards others and the game itself. Age, gender, nationality or other similar factors are not a concern for us.
Midnight Mayhem gives its members the freedom to play the content they want. Every member decides on their own what they want to play, who they want to play with, when they want to play and even which guild events they want to attend.
The guild promotes a drama free environment. We never forget that we play with other people also here to enjoy themselves and have fun. The guild works with its members to correct the occasional disruptive behavior because we can understand anyone can have a bad day. However, we do not tolerate members who troll, become abusive, or regularly whine at every obstacle in their way.
Members of Midnight Mayhem respect the people they play with. Those who take part in organized events respect the chain of command, the requirements and the discipline established by the events organizers (especially in tighter WvW raids and more complex PvE events).
We allow limited multi-guilding. Members of MM also can belong to small friend guilds, no-representation guilds, and personal bank guilds. The guild expects its members to represent MM as their primary guild.
Midnight Mayhem game modes:
PvE
PvE remains the primary interest for the majority of our members.
For more challenging content we offer: guild only parties for high level fractals and PvE Raids.
We are always looking for experienced players to join our ranks and participate in these contents.
There are always old hands in the guild willing to help new members learn the ropes of more challenging PvE content. The game cycle of the student becoming the teacher for the next generation of players is a also part of how PvE functions within the guild.
Fractals are still the most popular high level PvE content done by guildies, and its very possible to participate in all levels if you have a sufficiently geared toon. Most of our fractal players will gladly help anyone build up their own personal level and teach them the tricks of the trade if they desire to pursue this type of content themselves.
Our members stand ready and eager to participate in PvE Raids, we welcome experienced and new raiders alike to join us in the Forsaken Thicket
Through our sheer numbers it is normal to run into other guildies everywhere in the open world. Often spontaneous created groups will enjoy anything from farming Hero Points to the new Meta Events.
WvW
MM believes strongly in excelling in everything we do. WvW remains no exception to this rule and some of our members have more passion, skill, and commitment to this game mode than many members from a “hardcore WvW” guild. WvW plays an important role in the guild and we generally try to make sure that we bring the same type of enthusiasm to this game mode as we would to any other.
Our guild’s strong community building focus helps us provide real and significant contributions to the server’s overall performance. Naturally MM does not do this alone, but we gladly share our leadership, support, and combat skills in service of our home server. We work hard to honor our commitments to our fellow server-mates.
We have championed open casual raids for the server as a whole. Our Rock and Roll Reset and TGIF Drunk raids have consistently become incredibly fun romps through the borderlands or on EB with our fellow server-mates as we enjoy a few drinks, amass too much loot, and cheerfully blob our way to overall success.
Our roamers still follow a wolf pack mentality, and hunt with the people they trust no matter what guild they happen to be affiliated with. Many towers were ninja’ed and supply camps decimated by a MM roamer, and will continue to be in the future. New players interested in roaming will find friendly guildmates more than willing to show them the tricks of the trade (and the sheer enjoyment that can be had by embracing the game mode’s madness and suicidal romps).
PvP
With the changes in the reward system, a greater percentage of our guildies are willing to dip their toes into this part of the game. tPvP and solo queue remain the preferred choices of PvP for most of our players. Generally we play as casual groups (with use of teamspeak whenever possible), with no rigid restrictions on who joins. In order to do well, most of our new PvP players need to learn the meta game quickly and be comfortable enough to adjust their builds (and possibly even profession), but we do value a guildies enjoyment of PvP more than forcing them to fit into a specific mold. We have good nights and bad nights, but generally we always have fun.
Although we don’t ever intend to abandon our “fun first” approach to the game, many of our experienced players are ready (and willing) to take it to the next step and develop more focused and effective teams. Although we’re always interested in having a new PvP player join us of any skill level, we’re particularly interested in recruiting players who have a strong desire to excel in a team pvp environment..
PvX
Probably the most common thread you’ll notice about MM is in addition to our guild as a whole doing pretty much everything the game has to offer, many of our players having the same approach as well. Don’t be surprised if fellow WvW players turns around and asks for people to join them in a full fractal run. That silly guildie meowing at mystic forge may actually be a deadly roamer with skills and experience he’s willing to share. The diamond PvP player who you played with one night might be busy doing a jumping puzzle the next.
You don’t have to do everything the game has to offer as a member of MM. But as a member of MM you certainly can.
In general:
We have enough resources to give our guildies access to all of the perks of belonging to a large guild. We run organized full guild missions once a week (on Sundays evenings), and give guildies the option to organize their own any time they want.
Our forums remain the primary way our guild keeps in touch and shares knowledge of the game. We expect our members to check them regularly because we announce all of our official events there. With a high count of posts every day, our forums contains a great deal of useful content generated by our members ranging from information about Guild Wars 2, to more general interests.
If you would like to join the guild, please register and apply!
It is possible to downgrade Bloodstone Bricks to Bloodstone Dust in the Mystic Forge.
I would like to have the same option with Dragonite Ingots and Empyreal Stars, since I would prefer to feed it to “Princess” and “Star of Gratidude”, than have it gather dust in my Bank.
