So seeing as Anet is following a sort of tv like approach with the living story updates i thought it would be an amazing idea if they would release a sort of “Season one of living story” thing for the living stories they release. It would be just like buying the first season of say the walking dead. Granted it wouldnt work for the world events such as the events added to wayfarer’s in flame and frost, but it would be an excellent way for people to go back and experience molten facility, or the canach fight, or the aetherblade dungeon. You could sell it for a pretty decent price maybe 20or so dollars on the gem store. This way anyone new could go back and experience the old living stories but in a slightly different way (less people in droves to the new content so it wouldnt be exactly the same, and they would still miss out on some world events) This would also pander to people like myself who have played all the living story and would like to go back and replay it on a different character or just to see the story again. I think this would be a great way to give the fans what they want while still keeping the living story a unique expierence. It would also allow for the stories to tie together better since they would be Continuous. This could be a yearly thing too so that way people would still feel pressured to play it while it comes out or else theyll still have to wait a while. I just thought of this because it reminded me of the bonus mission pack in gw1 and how that was very cool. You could also revamp some clunky things in the living story sections of course (i.e. being able to hide in the corner in the flame hell hole of molten facility). Anyways i would love to see something like this Implicated in the game. Sorry for the jumbledness of this i just really wanted to get the idea out there. Anyways if you like the idea please feel free to elaborate and such.
