Ah. Thanks SO much! I did try to find out before posting. I didn’t notice it in the patch notes. Time to level my new toon!

Oops, level 29. Sorry! Maybe someone happens to know.

I was about to level a new character when I noticed there was a bad xp glitch at level 26. Has that been fixed yet?

I actually did drop the Wurm and took the Bone Minions, changed my amulet to Soldier and replaced the two runes and it made a world of difference. I literally just tore myself away from the game and was just about to mention that in the forum here.

The difference is night and day. Much better!

I’m going to admit that I am not a “good” player but I’m learning to be a little better every day. I have experimented with nearly every class and I keep going back to Necro. After trying a few builds, I created one that is inspired by a few of my favorites.

I apologize in advance if this is already well known because it is definitely new to me. Take a look and let me know what you think.

Why I took what I took…

First off, I am using minions to deal the vast majority of my damage and since they scale with traits rather than power, I am going more defensively with my runes and such.

I am also putting a lot of emphasis on chill. It is absolutely devastating when used correctly.

Weapons:

Staff needs no explanation. Pop your 2 skill down for an emergency heal and make sure to use 3 for the chill when you can.

Axe is mostly used for the cripple with it’s 3. What we really need is the focus for it’s vulnerability and emergency heal on the 4 and the chill on the 5.

Remember to swap frequently for the AOE chill.

Skills:

Minions all the way. They’ll be doing the vast majority of your damage while you kite like a madman with your chills and other nasty necromancer goodies.

Notice I took Wurm instead of Bone Minions. Frankly, that is just personal preference. The Wurm is great for point holding and the teleport has saved me quite a few times already.

Traits:

These are pretty standard I think. In Spite, it is tempting to take Chill of Death but for the purpose of this particular build, we need to buff our minions as much as possible.

Runes, Sigils, and Amulet:

I love the Cleric Amulet in this build. It helps buff our heals since we have a couple regen abilities and helps when you need to murder your healing minion to save your life.

The runes vastly increase our chill duration as well as buffs our toughness and vitality.

The sigils give us an AOE freeze when swapping as well as a chill increase on the focus.

I know it was a bit long winded, but what do you think?

Agreed Renegadeimp – SWTOR (which I was also playing right at launch) obviously struggled with the fatal flaw of being released before it was ready.

I am madly in love with this game. I don’t want it to die… but looking through the forums is making me realize that they are way too many angry players not getting help.

Oh wow… so everything is gone for good? I had full stacks of so much stuff. I feel so sick right now.

I never lost access to my account. Someone just logged in, sold everything, and logged out. No password change or anything.

The thing is, when the game first launched, I knew someone was trying to hack my account. Every day I got an email telling me to confirm the changes to my password. (Obviously that wasn’t me trying to change it so I never confirmed it.)

I told ArenaNet about it and got a pretty cookiecutter response.

I changed my password as soon as this happened but it’s really frustrating that I will never get my money or items back. So apparently there is no help for people who get hacked?

You’re just supposed to let the hackers win, I suppose. If you can’t beat them, just let them take what they want from accounts and leave customers in the dark.

So, I tried to log in and I have NO money. Even my mails from NPCs have been opened and the money taken. Everything in my inventory that was sellable was taken and sold. Everything in my bank was taken and sold. Everything in my collections was taken and sold.

The game is unplayable to me right now because I feel so defeated.

My money was picked up from the auction house.

I feel violated.

This had happened in WoW and it was restored completely. Are you guys able to do the same? I don’t know when it happened. I suspect yesterday or earlier today.

Has anyone had this happen before and how was it resolved? Will I get my things back on all my characters and what will happen to the person who did this to me? Can you track his IP? Can you track to whom he sent my money to?

It’s not just my thief. It seems that ALL my characters have been affected.
