Guild Wars 2

Since the latest patch I have been unable to play because of extremely low fps. I got around 60+ fps before and now I’m playing a slideshow at about 5 fps at the worst.
I’ve tried to lower my settings to the absolute lowest settings but the fps drops keep happening.
Computer:
Windows 10
Core i7 4790k
GTX 980 4GB
SSD (which GW2 is installed on)
16GB DDR3 RAM

I just played Fallout 4 without problem, so I’m pretty sure its not my computer.

I’m about to start playing Guild Wars 2 again after a long break, 1+ years and I’m wondering what I’ve missed while I was gone and what I should be exploring now that I’m returning. I’m wondering because I’ve seen a lot of updates over the year and I’m not sure which content is still ingame and what isn’t.
