gtx970 is good gpu, but gw2 need Intel 100000€ nasa Oc 10ghz nitro CPU. XD for everytimes 60fps. Need optimize gw2 and use 4/6/8 cores full. XD Or chip ARM (+cpu in gpu) in the next geforce gpu. XD

So, last time i played GW2 was about 6 months ago, and, in that time i always had 50/80 FPS with every option in High.
Currently I’m stuck between 8/15 FPS…
I placed everything on low, and it’s the same, i just used the repair tool and nothing changed.
I keep playing my other games exactly how i used to, this is only happening with GW2 and i really have no idea why.

My setup :
Windows 7 Ultimate 64x
ASUS M5A99X EVO
AMD Phenom II X4 965 – 4core 3.4 ghz
AMD Radeon HD 6670 1GB DDR5
8 GB DDR3

I already checked for drivers and that kind of stuff.

My pc is m5a99x + gtx580 + amd phenom 955 upgrade to fx 8350, 8gb ram.

with amd phenom 955 x4 = good fps but event dragon & lion city drop fps to 10-12fps.
with fx 8350 – 8 cores (gw2 use 4+2(6) in mu 8core cpu) 20-30fps
in dungeons, pve etc – 50-80 fps. 19×0×10x0 ultra settings.

for play gw2 good need Intel 7 o i5 of 300€ mínimum + gpu 200€+ XD

ok gw2 is not anti amd cpu, cpu amd is anti gw2. ok. other games good. XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

GW2 is NOT anti AMD, it’s simply only has enough work to keep 3 cores busy and couple that with the fact each AMD FX “core” is roughly 50-60% slower than an Intel Haswell core at the same clock speed makes an AMD FX not a good CPU for this game.

Mi fx 8350 use 4+2(6) of 8 cores playing gw2. AMD phenom II & FX Series is not optim for gw2 is bad = ANTI AMD CPU. Other games gta iv,eflc,crysis3,battlefield4, have more fps.

Intel 5 3570 + ati 5870 = 30-35 fps lion (my friend)
Amd fx8350 + gtx 580 = 20-27 fps lion (my pc)
Amd phenom II 955 x4 + gts250asus = 10-20fps lion (my home pc)

i play good, only gw2 have crah or low fps in espicific times bad optimize game. low setting or max settings 25fps in lion. Bye!

This is what u can get from a second gen Intel + OC.

Not the best comparison tbh since the scene below is more intensive(wider view + more people) than the one above, but its still almost double non the less.

Even so, as stated in the above post, their is a price difference to take into consideration.

1500€ = 3930k 4.6ghz +EVGA GTX 780 Classified = 40fps
500€ = fx8350 + gtx 770 = 30fps + 1000€

And yes GW2 is ANTIAMD CPU or Bad optimize
