I am using the x64 client and everytime i use the scale setting sequencer inside fractals my client crashes.

Ive sevral bugss

1. Rifts dont spawn or are unusable
2. npcs become invulnrable.
3. Drafts dont toss u up in the sky/gliders dont deploy
4. Mordremoth uses all skills at once with out cooldowns
5. Playing in a party you cant get back into the fight after beeing killed to these bugs making the complete quest useless to do and cant follow the storyline.

I heard a conspiracy theory that Anet is milking this lag issue to encourage people to move from EU to NA. NA currently has all the servers locked at Very High populations making the cost 1800 gems. I can’t imagine that all the servers have a Very High population especially Bronze bracket servers.

This is not true, I am a european player ive always played on the NA server still do ( Sea of Sorrows) and i have the same latencey and lag issues

There have been pretty much non-stop posts in this thread all day and yet the last “feedback” we got was 19 hours ago. Where are the devs?

They are ignorring the post because they are already bussy destroying the next thing for players, thats what they do in their meetings,, how to destroy fun for our players!

really anet get your heads out your azzes and listn to your players and make it RIGHT!!!

I’ll settle for 100 gem increments at this point. It’s still a bad compromise, but if my suspicions are correct as to them wanting more real money spent, then I don’t think Anet’s going to budge.

Ideally, the old system was fine as it was. You didn’t need to study the graph. Just input gold/gem amount, it gives you a forecast amount. Was simple enough for me.

NO dont settle for anything,, its like always if you give anet 1 finger they take both your arms and legs

Refuse evrything till they changed it back!!!

:( evrytime i try to enter a dungeon i get he error and when i enter a high populated map or waypoint. i cant join for guildmissions.

i understend it can take a wile for anet to fix certain problemsbut this is taking so long andin the meantime the problemis getting worse:(

i really hope anet finds a fix soon

i just got another possiblefix from a GM mailed to me

The instructions below will change the way Guild Wars 2 connects on your network. In short, this will force all inbound and outbound data to use port 80. Since port 80 is a very common port, it usually has the least amount of issues with transmission of data. To do this:

Locate the file “GW2.exe” and right-click it, selecting “Create Shortcut.”
Rename this shortcut to “Guild Wars 2 Port Test.”
Right-click on this shortcut and select “Properties.”
Edit the “Target” line to include /clientport 80 at the end. Note: Please make sure /clientport 80 is outside of the quotes. — Correctly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe” /clientport 80 — Incorrectly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe /clientport 80”
Once completed, click “Ok” to save your changes. If you get an error trying to save, your target line may not have the correct format. Please try Step 4 again.
Double click “Guild Wars 2 Port Test” and try connecting again.

ive had a mail from a GM to test something i did it and it worked for me, i can do evrything again.

NOTE:: when you do this all your settings will be put back to default settings!!!

Please go to your shortcut for Guild Wars 2 and right click it and choose properties.

In the line that says Target, add a space at the end of whats there and then -prefreset

It should look something like this: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -prefreset

Click apply and then ok.

Once the above is done, try launching the game and logging into the character you are having issues with. If this resolves the issue, go back into your shortcut again and remove the -prefreset line.

i did that and i can do evrything again i tested fractals dungeons wvw world bosses on all my toons and i didnt crash or got the error message again

i have this problem for 2 weeks on all my characters but since todays patch i have it on my warrior engineer and mesmer(uplevel) only mesmer is in the grove warrior and engineer are in Malchor

Sorry forgot to mention what was causing it.

changing maps/standing still in maps
changing Character /loading character
going into dungeons or going to thenext fractal
going into wvw/eotm

when i do all that the game crashes randomly on each of my characters and i get that error code, i also cant play the characters anymore.

3 of my characters are locked for 5 days now because of that

i just got a mail from a gm saying that its my ISP and that i have to change my DNS to a google DNS, dont they see all the peoplein this forum treath that have the same problem for years,, how can it be our ISP if somany people have this problem, and why is it only affecting this game and not my other games, doesnt make sence at all

To clarify my earlier post, I was apparently able to fix the problem for me by:

  1. Deleting Gw2.tmp.
  2. Launching Gw2.exe, but closing the launcher before auto-play finishes counting down.
  3. Renaming Gw2.dat to Gw2_bak.dat.
  4. Launching Gw2.exe.

Once the Gw2.dat file had been downloaded again (I left it running overnight), I had no more issues. I couldn’t get the files to download at first, but when I added in the Gw2.tmp steps, it seemed to work just fine. Once you’re satisfied, I recommend deleting Gw2_bak.dat.

I tried this because in the past, a “stuck” character could often be fixed with the “-repair” command, especially if it happened soon after a large update. I tried to repair the files, but it stayed at “0%” for an hour and crashed when I tried to close it. I decided there must be something wrong with my data archive, so I renamed it (in case I needed it, which I did for Step 2 above) and tried a fresh download.

This may not work for everyone, but it certainly seems to have worked for me. I’ve gotten two daily rewards with it so far, and no more disconnects. My wife did the same thing, with similar results (though if she had asked me, I would have simply copied the file to her computer).

i tried this my game worked fine for like 2 hours then evrything was back to crashing characters and not beeing able to load them

I have the same problem on 5 toons now and sometimes my other toons cause the problem also but they unstick after 3 hours its really anoying:(

Just want to pose a question, for those disconnecting upon entering the dungeon, are you guys able to rejoin your party or are you guys stuck outside and left stranded.

i get kicked from the game,, but when i re enter(whitch takes some time bc i keep getting kicked) im still in the party, but i cant reenter,, it keeps kicking me with this error code.

I was playing COF path 2 and i got kicked with the same error and both my guest passes are used after the patch,, to SoS and SoR

I just had a Chat with a GM from ANET about this issue were all haveing this is what he told me:

We are aware that some players have issues similar to yours, and we are implementing some changes to the game client tomorrow night (Thursday, August 1st) which we expect to fix this issue. If after the update you still have the same problem, please let us know so we can look into this further.
