Guild Wars 2

Someone finally pointed out where the catapult was, so I could verify it was complete where we are. I don’t even think I’m IN an overflow, but can’t find where to verify. Sorrow’s Furnace is my server.

An Event did show up on Event news, but it was SUPER short and it wasn’t clear to anyone there if that appeared to be all of it. It’s now 1 hr and 15 after time for event, though if that was it, ours showed up at like maybe 10 after, I think.

Everyone’s wandering around just wondering what is up. Boat transport has appeared, but don’t want to leave in case there is yet to be Event. But the more I think about it, the more I feel that what we experienced was probably it... handful of karka around Mariner’s point that seemed to take like 30 seconds to deal with.

I kept saying that Anet was surely planning more, as this is a free preview weekend, and it seems, logical that purely from a business standpoint they wouldn’t want to deliver disappointments on big advertised events to potential buyers, even if (and I’m not saying they would do this) they didn’t care about the issue for people who had already purchased the game.

Oh well. Missed the first event due to work, the 2nd one was just a morass of confusion that is lasting into it’s 2nd hour now, I guess.

It’s great to see that ANET posted twice here, but something more definitive as to what should be expected/experienced seems like it would be in order... at least after all the overflows have caught up.
