Guild Wars 2

Character name: Sleepea (human necro, level 29 at time of story skipping, level 35 now)
Preskip was after finishing level 28 Order of Whisper mission (The Trap)
Post skip is Suspicious Activities, level 48 mission.

Mine jumped from lvl 28 to Suspicious activity 48 too. Is there a way to fix it? Also, if I make a new character right now, will it happen again? This is really annoying.
