I swapped from full berserker to marauders and I can now last 4-5 seconds longer before getting killed in wvw. Still at a 100% loss rate though

Necro wax my 1st lvled 80. I still love it but only use it for T4 factals and rare wvw zerg blobs. The amount of work it takes to be dominant in pve or wvw is better utilized and less stressful with any other class.
Since I mainly solo everything I find more enjoyment with druid or mesmer….but I still have hope for the future

Well, I have an 80 thief (this was my first and only 80 at release) and an 80 warrior. I like the thief most but I die doing almost everything solo with it ( full exotic zerker gear), and the warrior seems bleh to play. I just don’t know what to play arrrghghh..

Ok, so I have some laurals and want to get an ascended amulet, but I don’t know what one to buy. I made a set of exotic viper gear so I’d like on to go with the viper horror build, but I don’t see any “viper” stats on any of them in the wvw vendor. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the reply’s. I’ve unlocked reaper and went to metabattle to look around. The GS/dagger+warhorn build looks to be the go to for pve content. I bought all berserker gear and weapons, still have the rabid trinkets though, and it’s pretty good. I miss the range a bit but overall I like it.

Like the title says I am a returning player after a little over 3 years not playing and I am hoping someone can help me with this class. I seem to be doing ok in PvE with the gear/build they gave me when I was boosted but in wvw I got rolled pretty bad, like a grown man beating on a baby bad, and I’m looking for some advice.
I’ve looked around forums and youtube a bit but all I read is doom and gloom, is this true? Should I abandon the class and level something different? Thanks in advance for any help.

Same here, although I’ve been plagued by disconnects since trying to come back to play the game the last two weeks.

Just a FYI, when I came back after a few years, (left before HoT was even dreamed of, and came back this summer), I had weird glitches and DCs. I did a total uninstall, reboot, and then reinstall. It seems that every MMO I play, doing this process when I come back fixes a lot of weird glitches that even the /repair in the launcher exe doesnt fix. Since you been having this a few weeks, that may be your solution, not what Gaile is posting about.
