Almost never come across these people. Once a month for me, on Deso. Guess I’m just in the wrong maps at the right times.

I normally try to farm them teleport power-ups as I run. I normally know what to pick up, but I fail at races, and end up falling off ledges, flailing around like a nub. Closest I got was 3rd.

:P Sorry, just couldn’t help myself.

For me, I wanted the daily activity participation (hardly see the daily when Sanctum sprint is active )
and upon arriving, I floated around for 3 minutes as ball of fog, and then the match was over, I got my daily. Wtf… meh, exits.
I think I’ve only played S.S.S 3 times since GW2 has been out.

Killing scarlet again would be so much fun, and the flames, the FLAMES of LA would blaze again! That and SAB would be back. I never did get that molten jetpack at the start. I +1 with the OP, despite already hearing the Dev say in the Interview that they had no plan (like with everything else) to bring it back yet.

I probably would have played Charr more if they stood up straighter, like the Ronso from Final Fantasy X, just so I could make a Kimari Ronso, Charr, but the current Charr don’t do it for me.
Of course, the Second post in this thread said all that was necessary.

Waiting on SAB for, Link, and my Sonic Asura to get some retro fun.

ArenaNet should make it the opposite – if you have been dead for more than 15 seconds, no event reward for you. Or at least automatically waypoint people if they haven’t teleported after 15 seconds

Some battles stop you from Warping away after death, until the other people in your party are “Out of Combat”. So I wouldn’t vote for this. But I would vote for you automatically getting warped away to a WP after a 30 second limit (unless Revival Orb or ressing is in process).

On a longer note:
Maybe a goal for people to avoid slacking or afk’ing in battle would be cool.
A title (“Expert Survivalist”) and 10*AP for doing 10,000 World boss fights, and for each fight that you survive without being wiped, gets you +1 towards that 10,000 AP goal.

Seems like the company bosses are not listening to customers.
I don’t care if I have to buy SAB as some stupid separate add on for 3000 Gems, or more. H3ll, just add it back while we wait for that kitten expansion.
I mean we can still re-do the season 2 for 200 gems per story, yet something just as good, like SAB, is way out of your ability to re-instate? (with or without a fee).

You’re busy with the expansion, so it would make more sense to give us something we enjoy, to occupy the time?
I’d happily play threw last years SAB while we are waiting for the new HoT, is that so much to ask?

Screw your plans, it’s not even a major point of the story in Season 1, it’s an attraction, and a money maker. It’s a sell point, with lots of gimmicks and stuff that you’d make money on by selling SAB items, and giving newer players the chance to experience it.
And right now, you’re not getting far with idle content and a few new skins every few weeks. Please do something to keep newer customers and older customers from DYING of boredom every now and then.

Sorry for the rant, but not for the point I’m trying to get across..

Not even advertising this game to people anymore. Even friends in the game store, who know I buy a lot of their gem stock, are surprised I’m leaving the game, until I explained why. Now they’re advising me to try Destiny, ArchAge and The Secret world.

What’s the quickest way to get tomes of knowledge?
PvP or WvW?

If the rumors are to be believed, this is all coming from ncsoft, who want the game to be more like the Korean grinders. Those games make a lot of money for their primary single-voice shareholder: Nexon. Nexon bought a 15% share of the company, making them a huge, huge, huge voice in the boardroom. Nexon was the originator of the the pay to win model, and still escrows billions of fiat currency in it’s NX currency.

Never ever bring up Nexon again lol! They helped to further ruin Shaiya when they purchased that a few years ago.
Korean company’s that like grind games, really don’t give a kitten at all about the over seas community. They cater for the eastern and official servers of their games. Everyone else gets the crap end and dodgy patches that end up bugged and hardly ever fixed.
I remember leaving when the pvp bugs prevented people from seeing their health drop, or from not being able to res when killed in the raid. Constant lag and bugs worse than Anet could ever implement.

I planned to stay with GW2 for a good few years at least, but I am looking at other things and it sucks :/

I remember back on Shaiya, when the community got so annoyed with the patches that the endless threads made the company re-roll the patch.
No point in going that far, but I think Anet should seriously consider at least removing the level restrictions on all the stuff they dumbed down, both storys and skills.
Did they ever consider the people who have over 10 – 20 alts to level? You know the max amount of character slots is 64. Now playing 1 alt is a head ache, so the other 18 non 80 characters that I have, are just gonna remain idle until I move on. No point leveling them or buying gems now if it’s gonna mean I can’t play the way GW2 was originally intended to be played.
No more challenge, only frustration and boredom.

After the latest patch, with 23 characters, I have no enthusiasm to even touch the other 18 alts I have below Lv20-30. Would I get a refund for deleting the toons and leaving the slots open for Anet to reimburse the gems?
It probably sounds childish but I’m pretty much done with this game after the leveling nerf. :/

I think the big issue is that for a lot of veteran players, they don’t want the level-gated nonsense. They want to have everything available to them on alternate characters so that they can just go out and explore.

I don’t think that’s a wrong sentiment to have.

You’ve..pretty much ruined the game.
Leveling 21 characters will be an even bigger chore. No reason to advertise this game to friends or other gamers who I had been working my hardest to persuade. This game is now no longer challenging, but is more suited the being spoon fed your objectives and forced to be certain levels to have things unlocked or to do things (skills/story), so the challenge is GONE, along with the free will and the enjoyment of PvE.

I.. am Done. This game is messed up. I don’t have any reason to support or advertise this game to friends or other gamers anymore. Every argument I could use to advertise GW2 has now gone out the window.
