I love the bug. I’d keep my backpack graphic turned off all of the time if I could.
Not saying this works for everyone but here’s what I use for dungeon runs with my guildies:
p/p or p/s (I can’t make up my mind which one I prefer), grenades (high long range AE damage), Bombs (good melee damage, long lasting blind and confusion, and the Elixir Gun (Super Elixir for regen and condition removal, and 1 for perma Weakness). I also like the Med kit. It took some time to get used to it but the extra heals, fast toolbelt heal skill, condition removal AND swiftness/fury are pretty kitten awesome.
My spec is 30/0/30/0/10 for Grenadier, Elixir infused bombs, and Kit refinement.
Most combat start with lobbing grenades, if mobs engage in melee I move up to our tanky Guardian and start dropping smoke bombs and confusion bombs and then healing/doing damage with the Elixir infused bombs. For single bosses or champs I tend to switch to the elixir gun. Between the Guardian’s Protection and Weakness on the boss, he can tank forever. I don’t do much damage since I don’t have much Condition Damage gear but the utility of two Super Elixir’s, and an extra dodge from the Acid skill is hard to pass up.
I tend to use my Pistol when kiting or I’ll switch to it briefly to fire off a Static shot or to use the Barrage skill for extra damage. I have mainly power/toughness/healing gear but my jewelry is power/precision/vitality. I can take a fair amount of abuse from trash mobs and can generate a lot of healing for the party. I can solo most champs but they have so many hit points it is not worth the effort.
