I hear you, I was being hit by rapids while on rocks, on top of geysers. I got stuck in a wall, spawned, and then fell through the floor. I would fall through geysers a full two seconds before they even went down…
If it all worked, it would be a great challenge, as is, it’s just a tad bit frustrating.
I agree. I would really like to see events move beyond being “dress up”. I see no reason why we can’t talk to a bard who will let us “relive” the time Braham, Rox, and their friends took down the Molten Facilities. Sure the actual story should be one time, but there is no reason dungeons and/or events like the crab toss should not stay.
I’m going to guess that Shelter/ Penn are a part of the “A new test version of our advanced event scaling algorithm has been applied to four high-level, regularly played events to help us monitor the feasibility of this system in the live environment.”
So honestly, let them know what you think. It’s a test.
As for me, I think the events are more enjoyable now but they have killed the loot…and that was kinda the point of Shelter/Penn :/
I was having major crashing problems for quite some time on my laptop, I have an Nvidia GT 525M graphics card. The most recent drivers that came out a few days ago have totally fixed all my problems knocks on wood. If you haven’t updated yet I would suggest you give it a shot.
I’ve always been a little disappointing that I can’t really show my weapons off, no one can see them. Didn’t notice they got smaller when you put them away till a friend made an Asura :P
From what I’ve heard it isn’t a bug, but a “feature” as in its intended. If that’s the case I really have to disagree with the choice, both of my guilds runs last night had someone crash and the other four people have to finnish it themselves, which on some fractals can be tricky.
I’m kinda both ways on this. Our guild is very similar, I’m in the core group of dungeon runners and we have several people who fill the gaps. We’ve ended up doing level 1 more time than I care to count because we never seem to have the exact same group of people. We are halfway considering just puging our gaps from now on except we don’t want to exclude guildies who arn’t as in to dungeons as us. Makes for an annoying situation.
Same here, my group did the dungeon twice last night. First time a guy dc’ed and we had to four man through the last two fractals. Second time the game froze on me after a cut-scene. So I missed out on the rewards and I have to catch back up to their difficulty before we can go again.
Really ought to just let us join back in…
This is the thing that I really hate about dungeons. In fact don’t think I’ve ever been in a run in which my character spoke the lines, which has left me with no connection to the story told there. Funny thing is, I read the book before the game came out so I could better understand and be involved in the dungeons story…look how well that turned out.
I agree, I really think this is something that needs to be adjusted in some way. Right now, it’s a pain.
I have the exact same problem, me and some friends tried it for almost an hour with no success. This really needs to be adjusted at least I a little bit. I don’t mind hard, but this is just ridiculous.
