Guild Wars 2

Still nothing. No matter what I pick up and either throw it or drop, I still can’t attack after. I’ve tried all possible combinations from taking my box off, picking up item, dropping or throwing item then re-equipping bow etc, but still nothing.

To be honest, if that’s me stuck then I really don’t fancy wasting hours of play for it to happen again.

Great, it’s happened again and I can’t seem to sort it this time. I tried snowballs but that doesn’t seem to work so again, I now simply stare at enemies rather than attack them. I need to try and find some other items to change my weapon skills etc. I just hope that I don’t have to start again, as I’m only level 20 but I really don’t want to start from scratch again.

Solved, thanks guys but Cyrus your suggestion worked. I took an egg, which of course changed my weapon skills, threw it and behold I can attack as normal now. I think my connection dropped when I was holding the bucket of icy water to waken the warriors and that must have caused the bug.

I must be missing something as I created another character and I can fight as normal with it. What then have I done? I’m completely confused.

I hadn’t played for a few days and when I logged in a couple of days ago, I’m now completely unable to attack enemies using basic attacks. I can target, I face my targeted enemy and I simply stare at them without even drawing my weapon. I’ve checked all my settings and they are as they should be, unchecked them and tried just in case, reset to default etc and still nothing. I hadn’t even opened my settings before hand, so I hadn’t changed anything previously. The only way I can do any damage is to attack using my skills, which of course is no use especially for those skills that take some time to recharge.

Am I missing something obvious or has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as currently the game is rather unplayable for me like this.
