Just remove the RAM sticks and leave it only one inserted. It will be no difference in performance, but will sport a huge advantage in on-line time. Somehow this game provokes a RAM errors in dual- and quad-channel modes. I have spent a month to solve my issues on this.
Feel free to run a Memtest86 diagnostic; it was this to show me the way.

I have met this very same situation. I have let it download all 215.000-ish files (approx. 15 GB) overnight and buy in such a way another 5 hours crash-free time. After that it starts all over again!
Unacceptable.
It is absolutely unacceptable!
Thousands people (and me too) are constantly complaining about those abysmal crashes! And no word from ANet!
After my first happy day with GW2 I am experiencing frequent BSODs, restarts, freezes etc. The whole system became unstable. Game unplayable.
Interestingly enough, when client decides to let me play for 10-15 mins, game runs amazingly smooth, with average FPS 100-105! What a fantastic experience. And out of the blue – Crash! Boom! Bang!
