Guild Wars 2 ?@GuildWars2
We will bring the servers down for maintenance in 1 hour. Estimated downtime will be 60 minutes. Thank you for your patience. ^SL
Just seen on twitter that this is maintenance!
Ignore!
Currently getting this error on login.
It’s nothing to do with a firewall or other applications.
Usually just persist in logging in under windows and it works eventually. Is the login server down?
Question: Will there ever be a native OS X version?

A native client would be AMAZING.
It’s very promising that they’ve made a Cider port but i just hope they don’t stop at that!
Pull your finger out Apple and give some better OpenGL certification!
Are you guys being serious?
Of course it runs hot. It’s doing a lot of processing.

Are you being serious? Any laptop with some self-respect got a decent cooling solution to take care of heating issues.
Of course the processor is getting hot, but the body of the laptop is a totally different case. If the body is getting hot, the cooling solution is either too weak or the laptop was never meant to utilize the power of the hardware.
/Facepalm…
Have you looked at the thermal dynamics of the MacBook Pros?
You do realise that the casing itself is actually utilised to cool the machine down. It acts like a heatsink.
I don’t want to be THAT guy to state this but I’m pretty sure Apple know what they’re doing with regards to cooling when designing these machines. I’ve even OCed my GPU from 775 to 950MHz Core and 2000 to 2600MHz memory with no issues under windows.

If it was a only a measly 5% hit then sure i’d stay in OS X. But it probably isn’t. Not tested yet and also i’ve OCed under windows.
I’m expecting a lot less frames than under windows and it being a Cider port. I’ve OCed my 650m to 950MHz Core and 2600MHz memory under windows also.
