Well I do expect ppl to be honest… If people are using DPS meters and/or stat checkers, either legal or most likely not, you could be blacklisted or kicked from your raid group, and or guild / comunity…, and it will be a bad move longterm…. it’s difficult enough to convince ppl you should be part of groups…
If something like this would sing around…. I am quite open minded I like buildvariety… I do not use checkers and consider ’m offensive tbh. but I have been kicked before for using water in traits on my zerk ele. and had flames for zealot armor on some characters as well… Luckily I noticed most ppl not minding a difference in play style… But I never did Raids anyways….
Just farming the mats seems slow and problematic, but tbh I have 6 armors now, and 9 pieces on 4 other characters, and close to 80 ascneded weapons… 79 I think, I still need to unlock the Ascendeds from the specialisations, I still need ~27 pieces for all characters i would like to give ascnededs…. but it has become a low priority long term goal…
1 hour a day of SW and 1 or 2 hours of CF a week….and daily fractals should provide ample income…
22 lvl 80’s, 9 times map, 4ele, 4ncr, 3war, 3grd, 2thf, 2msm, 2rgr, 1eng, 1 rev.
Been There, Done That & Will do it again…except maybe world completion.

your answer like a same type player who have fixed guild group which are high level serious raiders and do very endgame content

i saw that game done copy some of trinity system mmos feature while game progressed

this is endless loop and no fun

u have to do grind raids for legendary crafting mats
pug raids hardest way
game needs improved lfg feature like a duty finder system in ffxiv which reward hardcore player
some class have to spesific build for raidng not diffrent from trinity type mmo
why not solo explore raids while u can explore dungeons in story mode while u can explore instanced story with npces in open world

exp is same old exp and u can get craftings mats from everywhere not just tyria so this crafting mastery system restrection is wrong
also vast number diffrent type bags,chest not related with game progress its confusing

i start play gw2 for fun after 5 years but nothing change and game features go worst
5 years ago i quit playing reason fractal dungeons drama and gear progressions
why i have to be punished 100 times to do same progress for better gear
why a daily dungeons isnt enough like ascalon
why i have to gather people do raid like wow or ffxiv to get gear -> legendary armor
its a punishment for casual players
not fair
if i wanted raid i play trinity system mmo games with jumping positioning tankin healing drama
but in gw2 system all class have healing skills,dps skill,defence skill
i should able to chose my rotation
why cant solo raid contents in explore mode
for fair play
give raiders a fair reward
give casual,WvW players what they need to progress same as raiders
give players freedom of same progress with diffrent game modes
players can get a same gift of something with diffrent game mods
why i have to kill boss with tricky position
just hit boss behind walls or objects no fun
it is not skill just design problem
some example
big risen megalodon -> boss cant hit you near shore
ascalon first boss -> all party just stay behind column and shoot
and why cant get exp for legendary mastery at HOT areas
absurd adds -> one shot condition damages
gear in mmo must be same base stat but must have usable with stat buffs in difrent game modes
example
raid and normal world pve gear same stat with diffrent skin is gw2 uniq feature what i like
