I am new to gw2 and tried pvp/pve and wvw. In all game modes im having trouble to decide between engineer and elementalist. In pvp im struggling really bad with engineer and barely able to stay alive probably cuz im new but with ele im having a slightly easier time. In pve im dying more as elementalist than engineer and in wvw ele meteor shower is very fun. I want to focus more on pvp/wvw so wanted to know which of the 2 professions is easier. I like the engineer a lot but due to struggling really badly in pvp its kinda making me depressed.

My sylvari engineer is named Nature vs Nurture

Are engineers gonna be still the toughest profession to play with after this patch? Im new to engi and just made one and dont wanna be a fail at dungeons or fractals.

I am trying to make a sylvari match the rife of the deep from arah dungeon. I cannot figure out wht type of dye the arah rifle is so if anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Blackfur Gianthorns because I have black fur and giant horns with a mix of t1/t2/t3 armor. A charr warrior in blood legion and vigil warmaster. Also legionnaire of the Giant Warband

cool thx for the replies so basically engineers are like the newest unique profession tht didnt exist and guardians r just a mix. Was curious cuz engineer class seems to me most unique class in all mmos since from warrior/guard/thief ele ranger and mesmer seems generic mmo classes. Thx ill make a sylvari engineer then since those 2 are newest additions.

I am new to gw lore. Gw2 is the first game I played and wanted to know if engineer and sylvari are the new things added from gw1. I read guardians came from paladins or something from elona and the rest were the same.

Wanted to make a combination of the newest class and race tht didnt exist in gw1 so was thinking if sylvari engineer was the one.
