That picture is very dark. I assume you mean the compass rose symbol thingie? It does change color depending on how you dye the skirt, generally coming in as a lighter color than the skirt itself. If you don’t want it brown, color the skirt purple or dark green, you’ll get light purple or light green on the detailing.

Everything in that picture is the same colour. I tested all variants and nothing changed about it (see attached).

So just bought my CoE pants and what I though I would be able to colour turns out to be a permanent colour. Not sure if this is a bug or not but can we get this changed so I can colour that segment and not have a hideous segment of brown at the back (see attached).

Just making this clear I am not bragging. I found this really sad and do not like the fact that this is the match up. Unfair for all sides and not fun at all as I said in team chat.

The only reason I am playing gw2 is for the wvw, I do not blame vabbi or fow for this matchup nor do I blame ros. The one thing I do not understand is how you cope every week seeing the map like this. I would have quit the game if I had to pay to move servers just so I can enjoy such an integral part of my gw2 experience.

Also, hello to that Omega golem who I had a stare off with for god knows how long!

Zzzzzzz. Surmia being pro spawn camping an outmanned RoF. It’s funny watching our randoms be idiots and die. Even funnier when they finally get equal numbers and Surmia runs to npcs/keep. Dunno if you guys know but WSR has a whole BL that can be taken and an EB corner. Glad to know we made you upset about something :P

Well yes if are talking about a particular moment but both sides had fluctuating numbers. We would lose some and you would rally and charge the few of us that were left. We would get numbers and your people either changed bl or sat in spawn.

Constantly stunlocked on my necro and kitten those rangers. Was unfortunate to see people just stand in the red circles of two necro’s spamming everything we had and just falling to the ground.

I found it more enjoyable due to the lack of fights elsewhere but just going to let you know there are side exits you can go out no one is stopping you.

Anyway some nice pushes from both sides but each time you left a flank open and we would charge in and down a lot of you while the rest did not notice or ran away.

oh and that little upscaled asuran guardian gratz on being the most brave. Would constantly see you charge out and go all out against someone <3

What I was sad to see is a d/d ele inside Sunny before gate went down in RoF BL. Let’s keep these things out of wvw shall we? No ressing through the door, and no glithcing inside towers/keeps pls.

Definitely was not me because I have only been near sunny on my own border just going to say that this happens to me a lot whenever I am near that tower on my d/d ele.

It is like the entire play style was made to get through that stupid bug. Burning speed especially.

Now if the person stayed inside that is bad usually I am just really surprised and then jump out which is what everyone should do if they experience this bug.

Also nice 1v1 with Naz thief <3 in RoS bl

Would have gone on forever but I had to talk to someone so cut it short sorry.

Some close calls on both sides would have been interested to see who would have won.

Thank you to the RoS randoms that I got to test Snow Leopard form on tonight, your participation has furthered my ventures into Norn fringe science greatly.

Think it was the last match up but I was fighting a norn something at the sentry near klovan and it saw people from behind me and used its elite. The next second it was a bear and was basically at SM gate 2 seconds after that. I just went o.O!

I think there’s a third way which is finding out what the other servers think about the matchup, chatting WvW and gently teasing your enemies without being offensive that strikes a nice middle ground between “OMG U HAVE AN ALLIANCE STOP BLOBBING I HATE EVERYTHING” and “You are lovely and thanks for dying at Ogrewatch”.

Hard to find but sometimes at the end of a matchup thread we actually hit that sweet spot for a while. Feel free to disagree :p

Yes it would be nice in regards to what you say in your post. With the volatility in the match-ups it is hard to reach this consistently and form relationships with other players on the different servers.

Side note: It is interesting coming from a low tier server where we never had the terminology ‘blob’ and ‘blobbing’ to suddenly see it appear everywhere and be used frequently on my own server. Before this it was just called zerjing no matter the size (which was not very big in the early days of RoS).

Without forming large groups of random players dedicated to wvw or casuals RoS would have never left tier 9. I can understand the frustration that can come from fighting against a large number of enemy players. When RoS first fought arborstone who sported 3-4 times our numbers we never used the term blobbing. We were summarily beaten of course but the fights that came from that were some of the scariest (I being a mesmer had to run through 30-40 arborstone to drop a portal SEVERAL TIMES kitten YOU ANGRY COMMANDER) and most enjoyable.

I suppose my point is that, I personally would never accuse a server of blobbing or blame the loss on blobbing (Another scary story was commanding on my necro when AS derped down watergate without golems at lowlands and I had 40+ AS wandering around my keep for 30 minutes). It is a thing that comes with this game which brings both highs and lows for people on either side…

…but a ‘blob’ will always be a zerj for me.

Awww it does sound like some people at RoS are focusing on the “payback” aspect of this matchup rather than the actual fun of defeating any of the other two servers.

Meanwhile please send my “hi” to that GoA player (i think it was thief) who two days ago came fast after my lvl 4 (!) thief (in obvious starting armour) and tried to kill me as I was trying to enter Ogrewatch to get the poi. Fellow GH players jumped down and pushed him back in time (I was really surprised at how much time it takes one to add two more hits to a downed upscaled player and finish him off before others attack back) so I didn’t die. But since we are talking about opportunistic playstyle, he didn’t miss the chance to add some more kills to his agenda and attacked the next upscaled player he saw ( a charr coming a bit after). All in good fun of course

Going to Ignore the first part of your post because that is directed at Elnor. I have not played since mid-last week.

I will gladly send your warm welcome to the thief, (Description?), and I feel sorry for most people who have to get the PoI/vista/skill point in the higher tiers(got all of mine done while we were still drowning in the tears of tier 9).

On the issue of upscales, I gladly kill delicious upscales all the time anything to make someone lose their cool and come back on a lvl 80 for some more enjoyable fighting. Happened to me so many times that I stopped bringing upscales to the wvw party unless I am running with TAZ which is rare.
