That is some of the worst advice ever.

You can run the old Meta build of DA/Tr/SA which provides a well balance between Survivability. You can swap the DA for CS for more sustained damage over losing Burst Fromm DA but CS can provide sustain.

For utilities you want Withdraw for heal, Shadowstep, Blinding Powder and Signet of Agility. This setup will provide the most efficient Condi clears and Survivability, if you want you can swap Blinding Powder for Haste for more Burst damage and another stun break.

SA doesn’t provide Perma stealth but gives more sustain from being Stealthed, the extended Stealth does not affect combo filed stealth since that the main stealth access for d/p thieves. But it does extend stealth from Traited astral and Blinding powder and any other stealth skill.

Don’t run Shadow Refuge it is a noob trap that puts a giant target over you head.

Lol ok going with this. Any suggestion on weapon loadout or elite skill? About to roam WvW and give this a shot.

Roll SA, Trickery, Critical Strikes with Dagger Pistol

You get access to perma stealth, percentile damage reduction in stealth, And a backstab that will nearly oneshot squishies. Go into WvW and meme people to death.

Alright got everything swapped. What utility skills should I use ?

Returning player coming back after two years. I’ll be getting HoT on monday, and just looking for something fun and simple to play for PvP. Currently all my gear is power/precision/ferocity.
