You really have to look at how much time it takes you to gather all that stuff, in that time, you could be doing many other things to earn money.
Lol, thief is spam number 2, how is that difficult?
Just to summarise for the dev, the respawn time between mobs when you defend Magg needs to be longer, or simply add in a hard mob that is challenging but not impossible to kill and by challenging, not 100k health, that’s just tedious.
I never had fun farming Citadel of Flame explorable and now that I see I have to grind even more, I find myself losing interest. I will however admit, that the cosmetic gear shouldn’t be seen on every single person walking around in Lion’s Arch but I wish the dungeon was really challenging and not necessarily time consuming, that just ruins all the casual gamer’s chances of getting cool armour. I don’t understand why you’re trying to increase the time spent on it as much as possible as this is not a sub-based game, if it’s to make it harder to get the entire set of armour, make the dungeon really really hard but not needing to complete it 80ish times.
I actually want dungeons to be made even harder and with increased rewards :/
If you’re soloing mobs, then I’d recommend using staff, due to the controlling abilities you get. I do agree the damage has been significantly nerfed, and that the max dmg build involves going right up to enemies when you’re the squishiest class out there. All i can say is that they can fill a support/cc role, not so much dmg.
Yeh, I was hoping for something a little more involving… the fight that we got, was the kind where you can hop into bed, taking your wireless keyboard with you, having a nap and just remembering to press the number 2 button. I mean, what Guild Wars 2 has going for it in terms of combat, is the attention you have to put into the game, dodging when necessary, mitigating damage, using abilities at the right time etc. but at the FINAL BOSS FIGHT, which should be the hardest, it takes less effort to kill him than picking your nose.
I finished the Arah story mode dungeon last night, which involved slaying the behemoth Zhaitan. To say the least, it felt rushed, anti-climatic and I felt there wasn’t as much thought or effort put into this dungeon as the others, no offence to the development team. The reason I say as much, would be due to the final push made by the party, which involves just jumping on a turret and pressing the number 2 skill till Zhaitan is dead, THAT’S IT.
Upon completion of the dungeon, I felt rather cheated out of a good ending by the poor amount of player interaction involved in slaying the ELDER DRAGON, which has only been the final goal of everybody’s personal story and feels underdone with too many attempts at grandiose through cutscenes etc.
I would suggest, that the dungeon be reworked, slightly short of remaking it, as in its current state, it is simply disappointing.
Money at higher levels is really easy to make, 10 silver becomes peanuts, so the cost of waypoints aren’t an issue.
