There is a god way to make a compromise with tag option, you may check and uncheck the pvp on charr tab and secure from pvp.

I like the idea of some guild competition. Elitism or anyway you wanna call it is always a god thing for any mmorpg.
Also, gw2 need some action out of wvw and hom, why world will be only reserved for pve players? As i got this, if you don’t like to participate as a guild or player you don’t have to?
