Gliders are cool but...

2nd tier gliding was called Updraft, and would get you boosts to heights. Some of those were probably areas not accessible to un-leveled gliders.

  • Activating Glider when jumping of a bouncy mushroom bugs the glider. You can only fly in the direction the mushroom sent you.

To expand on this, there was a few spot (mostly found them near wyvern’s nests) that you could bounce up and hit a roof, which would push you sideways. If you started gliding afterwards, you would start moving in a straight line through the air until you ran out of glide, or hit a wall.

Disturbing Itzel Event Chain

To put this chain into perspective:
You start by ridding the village of Mordem, after that you feed them and hunt for food.
-While you are leaving to hunt, the Hylik are handing out eggs to passerby.
After the hunting chain is done, the villige is attacked by wyvern, setting the whole place on fire. You put the fire out.
The Hylik use this as a way to pull the Iztel to the side, and convert them to their sun god and away from the village. You remind them that they have work to do (oversimplified) and they go back to the villiage. The Hylik attack you for preventing their conversions.
Then you attack their meeting with rotten food. And fight those who join the sun god.
After this, the Village’s Lore Keeper, who was at the meeting trying to prevent some of this, explains the story to those who missed the first parts of the chain, while getting eggs to burn the Hylik village with wyverns.
This was as far as I saw the chain go

Escort Soldier too frail

I was doing pretty well with Healing turret/Flamethrower/Elixir gun Engi. The few time there was more than just me on one were fairly easy.
Pathfinding on them is a bit eh (They spend a lot of time backtracking between fights) and they tend to be a bit reckless (had one walk directly into a charger and die pretty much instantly.) If they had a mid-ranged attack instead of melee, I think it’d be less of a problem.
Other than that, I’m assuming that a small party of 2-3 in a normal mix won’t have an issue here. Hard to tell some things when 90%+ were Revenants

Mastery UI

I’d like to chime in that it took me two or three time looking at the mastery UI before I realized how to turn it on. Noticed the light by the exp bar right away, but tried double-clicking on a few ofthem to turn them on without success. When the check mark is off, it blends too much into the top bar to warrant notice.

Skill point in personal instance

“Old skill points in excess of those earned by leveling and skill challenges will be converted into crafting materials for the Mystic Forge. Items and activities that were previously repeatable sources of skill points will now also provide that same crafting material.”

So it’ll probably keep the same function.
