IMO,

Please leave the rank finishers alone. Keep the current rank system in play for casual sPVP players.. recolor or modify or make new finishers for your new ladder thingymabob..

Also – sPVP Gear: IMO you shouldn’t be forcing your customers/players to buy or acquire a skin TWICE just so they can PVE AND sPVP with it.

Original Finisher removal is bs.. they should keep that in especially since that’s a slap in the face for the people who were grinding ranks legit vs those who exploited skyhammer map for fast gains.. `

make the ladder finishers different.. a recolor or added effects of it shouldn’t be difficult.

Not sure what to make of the upcoming spvp storm since I don’t usually ladder/tourney play..

Hopefully the revamped gear thing is worthwhile since IMO it was stupid to force us to buy 2 different sets of items or use a specific limited quantity item (ie. holo wings) for looks.

If you look at the SAB map loading screen, you’ll see that the next world looks to be underwater.. followed by lava world and then the dark world..

Makes me feel that the next items released is gonna be harpoon/spear/trident maybe some aqua masks..

Sorry about the dark screenshot.. I play in window mode so the gamma doesn’t take effect when I take screenies and I do set my gamma at +2. It’s harder for me to place the jump because it’s on a tree top, one wrong slip close to the edge and you slide off the tree..

I’m actually better at the wrap around jumps and find those easier…

Out of the entire world 2-3 this is pretty much the only part that I can’t master completely because I can’t tell where the actual jump point edge is at without slipping down off the tree which at that point – may as well just suicide.. maybe if it were a rock platform I’d probably be better at it. :/

I don’t recall seeing anything about this but does anyone know if these SAB instances are reset on login based or automatic reset based?

I noticed sometimes for actual chests, I have to exit and relog client for the chest to show up again.. so I’m wondering if it’s possible to do this,

I already completed SAB Tribulation today for W2Z3 so my “account based” chest and rewards for beating boss = 0..
If rerun to the boss fight part.. and wait for the daily reset to occur, then kill the boss would I get my reward for that day or would it be similar to how you have to relog for the chest to be activated and do a new full run?

I’ve had times where I spawned inside the Log Bell Ringer.. digging up the rabbit actually put it outside of harms way so I couldn’t die. Wasted a perfectly good run right there..

As long as you’re playing Normal mode, you should get credit.

Does this mean that the floor magic find is
300% (EXP) + (+% Achievements Account Bonus) + (Consumables Etc)
or is it
(EXP + Account Bonus AKA 300% Maximum Only) + (Consumables Etc)

[sarcasm] After seeing the farming problem with this current event, it would seem that this MF change is the perfect compliment to Farm Wars 2. [/sarcasm]

If you could put the Gift of Quartz into the HOM, that’d be great too…
If anything you could make the HOM our Player Housing and play from there.

I personally don’t see why you can’t make an Armor Rack Dummy
(and only 1 per account) that you can put your MF/GF armor and weapons on that will take the MF Stats from the equipment and make it apply to the account.

This way, no nerf is needed to Magic Find Stat and the equipment loses no value except for the players who have multiple characters and worked on getting full MF sets for them all and everyone can have their own MF set.

*of course logically, you’d have to make the MF/GF equipment equip only to the rack.

My problem with Anet is not about changes, but consistency.. I’m a Alt-O-Holic Packrat so this theoretically screws me over much like them forcing Cash Shop Gather Tools to be soulbound (and I ended up forced to choose 8 professions * 3 of them).. I’m a casual player so I’m not even at the point of the same people who have the right to complain specifically for the MF..

hell.. my entire MF gear set is blues because I don’t like that soulbound BS.

If you’re going to screw over MF and say accountbound this and accountbound that.. why isn’t dye system accountbound?

You want a way to keep MF the way it is with minimal impact?
It’s SOOOOOOOO kittening simple.

Make a HOM Armor Dummy.

You equip said MF items that are currently soulbound to that Dummy, and only tally the MF stat on it.

That MF on that Dummy auto applies to every character on account.

Done… MF on equipment doesn’t lose it’s value, and everyone just as easily can earn 1 full set of their own MF gears..

now you don’t have to do kitten for anyone except for those who have multiple characters who are stuck with having bought 8x (assuming 8 mains) of a full MF set because they are kittening forced to play ANet’s sadistic game of I’m not sure if we’re soulbound or accountbound yet.. The fix for those people? reset soulbound status on all MF gear across server.. the people with extras that were equip can be resold or whatever.

Seriously.. From the start with Mad King’s book soulbound, had to do it on so many characters.. to now I just need to do things once and accountbound… and back to I have to buy each gathering tool for each character… I swear man.. the kitten.

Miyani is overly attached gf.. jelly of players and Zommoros.. sends us to broken events and gloats by mailing us constantly.

Most people do take what other users posts with a grain of salt.
It’s when admin users post that makes things complicated..

If you take your ticket responses in the 11/7 – 11/9 part 1 + 2 update you posted.
remove the 44 of them that are still processing.
That’s 21 left.
only 3 of them are marked as accounts not reinstated.
(this is assuming resolved status doesn’t include not reinstated as resolved in your tally list.)

going through all your posts with the ticket updates it seems to show majority of them as resolved..
I actually searched through majority of the ticket numbers to pair up with the person who submitted the ticket.. and not sure what to think of it.
if resolved means the account was restored, then that’s 1 thing.. but if you mean the account was also account blocked.. then that’s an entirely different thing.
assuming that those resolved accounts are actually account restored, that would mean that the people that are lying+banned aren’t really posting here as frequent as you make it sound.. because what does a botter gain by getting “player empathy” in helping them get unbanned? It’s not like we can all collectively appeal for unbans for a specific person so knowing that they are a liar or not doesn’t do anything to help unban them.

I remember when I played Ragnarok Online.. tried to bid on an item from some seller. I researched the other bidders and found a cross reference that another user was actually the seller and was artificially inflating his auction.
PM’d a mod, called him out on it and he got banned. It’s not the case here because I can’t tell what you did with the ticket.. if you were to check the tickets you posted the way it is.. should I use House’s logic (Everybody lies) and assume all those resolved tickets are bans? which shouldn’t be the case.

All the post does is do a comparison which downplay the people who are truly unjustly banned instilling unwanted guilty feelings in them in the way they play the game or even how they login to the game! Every time I see a group of people am i suppose to flee in the opposite direction?

It’s this type of fear mongering that makes me play only with specific people vs being social to play in pub groups… the ONLY time I joined a public group (and reluctantly done so) was for the Mad King Event Dungeon and that was only because I haven’t got enough skill yet to solo him myself.. so am I suppose to assume everybody is a cheater/botter? don’t party or be guilty by association?

It also scares me when I make any type of online transaction especially if there is a fail rate. The first time I made a gem purchase, the transaction failed because you had to type the expiration date as YYYY.. and I only knew that because i read it on reddit.
the next time I made a purchase, it was expiration date as YY.

We live in a civilized society where we should presume innocent before guilty.

I had this post written up last night but feared of posting my views because what if there is reprisal for speaking out?

As of right now, the only thing I feel I can possibly do in the game is complete my daily and not log in to actually play and enjoy the game as fear of it happening again isn’t assured especially with an event around the corner…

I filed my ticket through “Login Issues” and not through the “Ask a Question”
Seriously.. what is the point of having “Login Issues” and “Ask a Question” if both of them are technically

Surveys have a tendency to have two major flaws:
1. There is a massive sample bias in those willing to fill out a survey

I would also like to say that 2-3 days isn’t necessarily a terrible turnaround time for fixing reported problems. I’m used to dealing with Nexon support staff, and it is not at all uncommon to have to wait WEEKS for a response from their “customer service” department, and when you do get a response from them they usually dont even end up fixing the problem.
I won’t be too upset if i get my account back in the next 2 days or so (it’s already been over 24 hours) But… and this is important… If it ever happens again, I do not think I will be able to forgive ANET.

Nexon is probably the most hated MMO company in the world. So if ANet decides to look somewhere to compare their support to, it should be the last one they look at, unless they want to end up in the same boat.

I agree, Nexon is terrible, thats why I no longer play any of their games, but a lot of the people in this thread are saying theyve gotten unbanned in less than three days. If we were dealing with Nexon, we’d all get a response email saying “we’re looking into the problem” and no response even weeks later.. Except maybe a sporadic “we are still looking into the problem” auto generated message.
Ask me again in a day or two.. But as of right now, ANET is nowhere near as bad as Nexon. (Who have had their own slew of false bans by the way)

Not going to say Nexon doesn’t suck, I’ve also had tickets with them that sat for well over 4 months.. but their support has improved the past few months I’ve returned.. people who’ve had tickets about being hacked, they got compensation – some getting at least $100 worth..

My last issue with them was my character got glitched.. unplayable.

took them 1 day to fix..

before that, another 1 day turnaround for a cash issue.. and another one that took 10 days to resolve because it was a more complicated multiple character cash issue.

At least with them, the only time you’ll get an autoban is if you’re actively trying to hack the game by injection or similar..
rest of the times you only get kicked.. worst case scenario was hellbanned but at least you’re still able to be in the game.. just can’t inventory/bank, you could still chat with friends, hunt and gather until your issue got resolved.

I got hit with a false positive ban like 5 hours ago.
Submitted a ticket as fast as I could..
attached screenshot I had taken 40 minutes prior of this L4 Elem white husky norn
named Rapper in the guild WvW I just happened to see as proof that I’m am real player.. lol.

was frapsing a video earlier today day as well.. and another funny name there too..
some dude named Key To Ur Bu Tt.. /facepalm also attached for them :P

I was playing the game as my engineer.. trying to slowly get my 2nd one to 80..
all of a sudden, got kick/black screen/banned at like 7:29 EST.
relogged on and got the bot message for no reason.
no messages or warnings from GMs just straight up ban..

Sucks to have this be my first post on the forums..
if you guys wanted me to post more, you didn’t have to block me from my gaming sessions to do so..
Ugh.. lemme back in the game… please!
