Guild Wars 2

It’s been nearly a year since the last time I truly played gw2, after halloween ended is when I stopped. I started at gw2 launch, quit a couple of times, came back for Halloween, and quit again.

I’ve decided to give this game another shot (and beat clock tower again).
What’s the current state of this mmo?
Are necromancers still bugged and useless? Are warriors still op? Do mesmers still have reign in pvp?
What’s the current drama?

I’ve noticed in my email over the part year detailing of unique events. Were they one-shot events or something?

I completed Metrica Province map.
I was shown the map rewards.
I press receive all for the loot (which was two pant armors, 40 jute scraps, and 1 silver), I only got two of the loots because bag was full.
I cleared out some space for bag.
I went to go get rest of loot, I pressed loot all, I did not get the other two rewards (one of the pant armors and the 40 jute scraps).

I am 100% certain I hit loot all and not delete all.

I would like to see the 40 jute scraps be sent to me as a refund but since I have no evidence to support my claims on my side, I can’t do much about it.

Possible solution: If a player’s bag gets full while receiving rewards from map completion, have the rest of rewards sent to mail to ensure it doesn’t get lost.

Another possible solution: make the rewards redeemable at any time if it isn’t possible to take them upon completion by clicking on the chest icon while in that map.

I would like to see a first person view, as in a view in which you can see the world though your chars eyes and not see the char model at all.

While it doesn’t sound useful for a mmo but it’s vital for taking scenic pictures.
I feel sad whenever I see a really scenic area and I can’t get a good shot of it because my char is in the way.

Either a first person, or a free floating camera for screenshots, would work out well. I’d imagine the first person view could also fix some issues with jumping puzzles and tall chars.

It’s a glitch that has happened to a friend of mine as well.

Probably something related to the fact that gw2 will eventually be released in China.
