we are totally night capping the forum right now..

We killed about 15 ET trying to take back ET garrison about 30min ago..
Someone commented, these ET players/guilds are great and they are totally welcome to join us on yaks because they’re obviously like us on yaks who don’t server hop chasing the glory like the top tiers..

Oh, let me add. Some players are actually complaining about the fact that when it is their peak hours in WvW, they can’t get out of their base camps because other servers that are mostly peak hours 24/7 are already camping and established siege weapons.

So that’s a good example of a server that isn’t 24/7 alive vs. a server with active players in many timezones. ^_ I don’t know how much common is that scenario but I do encounter those complaints every now and then (in other GW2 communities).

Yak’s Bend NA commenced as what seemed to be a 24 × 7 server, we were the base camping server referred to as above in the first WvW pairing. We then encountered Henge of Denravi NA in a WvW who proceeded to own us and the other server so badly we didn’t get out of our base for a number of hours last weekend.

It was really just 2 guilds though that worked very good together.

What you really need to find is one of these guilds, that most likely cover all aspects of the game.

I distrust all Theorycrafters. Cookie cutter builds, while they may be efficient or powerful, are also boring and pedantic. I prefer to play for fun. Theorycrafting takes the fun out of the game, which makes baby puppies sad.

Most people like to be as effective as possible. The unfortunately side effects of a level-skill-gear based system is that there will always be the ‘best’ build incorporating the most appropriate skills and armour based on the play style you’re using.

Feel free not to take peoples advice but don’t criticise people for wanting to be effective; and I seriously doubt they are sitting there not having fun, hating the world… being more effective in my opinion increases fun and decreases frustration.

Try to transfer in off peak times, my friends all joined my ‘full’ server in off peak and they were fine.
