Just logged in to toss my two cents out.
The 400 hero point grind for elite specs is pretty ridiculous.
Having a job,a family,and other priorities means I don’t have a whole lot of time to play now days.
I don’t mind it requiring points to open,but that amount is just insane.Especially considering it will have to be done multiple times if you want to play more than one elite spec.
I simply don’t have the time to mess with that crap,and it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth for the whole expansion,which I was really looking forward to.
Lower the hero point cost….big time.seriously.

Why no Achiev for max lvling every class?

I would also like to see this added. I am getting pretty close to this myself, and while I have all 8 professions, the last 3 are just sitting around collecting dust at lower levels. Adding an achievement would definitely help motivate me to dust them off again. I’m not sure why this achievement wasn’t in place already honestly. In comparison to the mountain of other achievements in gw2, it’s actually one of the ones I would consider an actual accomplishment.

I think a tab added to the hero pane would be a neat addition.Just a little tab that lists the combo fields you have interacted with,what skills caused that field,what skill finished it….things like that.Kind of a running journal of combo’s you have been a part of and a just a small bit of tutorial text on what combo’s are and how to find out more.

They could even add a daily/monthly achievement for combo interactions if they wanted too.

Last night I saw a level 5 with that Flame Tower (or whatever its called) armor. Not guna lie, I was extremely jealous and felt he should have EARNED the armor on that specific character.

Are you sure you didn’t see someone that had been downscaled to lvl 5 and were actually a higher level?

Not doubting you because I’m sure it’s happened already.just curious where you encountered him,because if it was somewhere other than a major city…then he was probably downscaled.

because as far as i know,the armor/stats have a level requirement.Someone could take the skins and put it on lvl 5 gear,but that seems like a terrible waste to me honestly.

Come on guys,stop trying to play on a toaster and you won’t have such garbage FPS.I mean seriously,I run the game fine on 3 pc’s at my house and none of them are even close to what could be considered cutting edge gaming tech now days.

2 nvidia cards,1 ATI.2 intels and 1 AMD processor.All 3 run the game at a reasonable FPS if i don’t try to crank the options to the max.Which i wouldnt expect to be able to do on my equipment.It’s not the game,it’s your system.

The skill point bugs do need to be fixed tho.

Necromancer minions need a buff

My necro’s bar is already full of utility skills…namely the minions themselves.I’d rather not see a utility added where I have to choose between the signet that makes my minions not suck as much,or having another minion.

What i’d rather see happen is for the vampiric master trait to be slightly altered.Right now it makes the minions drain life and transfer it to you.Which is great,and i like the trait.BUT…..why not make it so the minions leech life for themselves instead of giving it to you?

I already have more than a few tricks to heal myself or keep myself from taking too much damage…why not let our minions heal themselves on attack? it would make them a bit more survivable over time.Altho I imagine they would still die anytime a mob farts out a tiny AoE in their general direction it would help them to survive the little hits here and there,and maybe not be at 12% HP after a fight is over.Man that’s annoying.

Also,they should just regen HP like the flesh golem out of combat if they survive.

How are Dungeons meant to be played?

AC is way overtuned for it being the lowest level dungeon in the game.It’s a meat grinder for the unprepared and uncoordinated.My honest suggestion? Do the story mode(if you can) and then move on.Come back later with a team for explorable if you really really want too.It’s really just not worth the frustration otherwise.

CM is about a million times easier than AC and,in my opinion really should be the first dungeon instead.

I don’t mind challenge.The best moments in gaming are when my wife and I can face a difficult challenge and overcome it together.But,as it stands….AC is just an exercise in frustration and makes you want to quit the game,if you don’t have a well oiled team to do it with.

That being said.I’m glad there’s some challenge in the game and the dungeons aren’t all just drooling on keyboard faceroll easy.Just don’t attempt some things with a pug,get a good group that knows what they are doing.
