I agree, its is very wasteful on our time when we could be WvWing instead of grinding the HoT thorn maps for mastery points over and over for each character.
I agree with bringing back the old BL but i do not think the devs would want to just scrap the desert BL since they did put effort into making it, so the maybe the middle ground is that they could rotate the Desert BLs and the Alpine BLs every week? or month?
