Darkhaven has a chance to get vengeance on Yak’s Bend this Friday. I for one can’t wait. This match with Mag and NSP has taught us some interesting tactics. I think we are ready for our next match, though Crystal Desert Could be the wild card. I’ve liked fighting Mags, they put up a great fight and I’ve had some epic battles with them.

Dang I was thinking about taking a night off of WvW. But NSP is putting the pressure on. This match isn’t finished yet. Keep on pushing DH!

Great fighting last night NSP. We fought hard last night 8PM EDT – 12 AM EDT to take back Darkhaven Borderlands. Starting with our own garrison, which was a long hard fought battle to take! You guys really place defensive siege well.

Great team work last night Commanders Cyn, Joker and Raz.

@Worban my hit list is Yak’s Bend then SoR. We owe Yak’s Bend payback first. They started the Darkhaven war machine.

Darkhaven has punch and pie. And a legendary Half Naked Norn. What else do you need?

@Zappa Darkhaven is an original server. We have our ups and downs, however we are getting more and more support and organized in WvW as the weeks progress.

@Coolmoos we fought hard for the map. It wasn’t wrapped up in a bow for us to just take. And we took it during Primetime East coast time.

We started in NSP’s borderlands at 7PM EDT yesterday. When I entered we only had Bluebriar. When I logged off at 12AM EDT we owned the map. Yay night crew? NSP put up a great fight. Cragtop made me want to pull my hair out with that kitten Treb we couldn’t AE down and some great Balista placement from NSP. The Garrison wall was down for 90% of the time we were trying to push into Cragtop. Luckily we were able to split their defenders a bit when we started hitting SH from the south, but Cragtop was a hard fought battle for us.

On a side note. Thieves are able to get into DB somehow. We had several instances of multiple thieves inside trying to destroy the orb after we had owned it (DB) for several hours. Luckily our scouts got them and we were able to send more over to defend it.

I’ll fight anytime. Just pick a sPvP and I’ll meet you there. Or we can come find you in WvW. Don’t matter to me. My normal play time is 7PM EDT – 1 AM EDT.

Yea… all of DH is in WvW just to PvE. I love blanket statements. DH all only play during the “Night Zerg” and we all set our alarms at 3AM EDT to zerg you.

So what I am getting is that SF isn’t ready for 2 week matchups because it’s too hard and they don’t have the will to win. It’s been a fun matchup, unfortunatly where SF is slacking, Darkhaven is coming alive and will continue to get better week over week.

What happens if you face Yak’s Bend? They taught us an important lesson. Adapt and overcome. We did it. It can be done.

Server transfers are still open. Come to the Dark side. We have the night crew. Bring your day / prime time crew guilds over. How to you plan to compete in the future if you can’t field the night? We have the night covered for you. So join us!

Our day crew held out all day yesterday and kept the points close actually. I’m personally glad the Darkhaven Alliance and a Half Naked Norn has demoralized the other servers. Give up now and maybe we will have mercy. We all know you can’t catch us now. Your server doesn’t have it in them to keep up the fight. Darkhaven decided weeks ago to change our situation.

Keep doing what you are doing you Great Sword wielding 4 RAMS NOW Norn!

And SoR and SF don’t zerg during the day when our night crew goes to bed and retake everything? riiiight.

Sadly unless a Server moves up or Down ranks. I think we will see this match up yet again next week.

5PM – 1 AM EDT Darkhaven ques are pretty much non-existant for BL, sometimes a small queue for Eternal. Personally I don’t know how you can the patience for a 3 hour que. Especially, if you are trying to run Guild Groups in WvW.

Why they made it gold instead of influence is beyond me.

Darkhaven got spanked by Yak’s Bends night crew. We as a server vowed to not let this happen again. We organized and solved a problem. Our Primetime crews are getting better day by day. DHA for the win.

This fight is going to come down to the wire.

It has been a great week of WvW in the DH, SoR and SF match up. Darkhaven gets more organized by the day. Keep it up guys!

How great would it be to hop up to a keep wall then push all the defenders off into your Army. muhahahaha.

Need a better way to communicate between Guild Leaders. My mailbox here fills up way to fast and no group messaging is killing me with having to send individual messages. Ideas?

if they use their current ELO ratings. Match ups will be very skewed as HOD, SBI and didn’t score as many points as some of the other servers who dominated the other 2 servers they fought.

HOD may be “#1” but not from a points perspective after this weeks current scores.

@MikeFurguson If we could get End of Day Scores for time periods as well it would be helpful so we can combine the ques to scores that would great.

Here is a quick and dirty combined view for Anvils Rock, Darkhaven and Yak’s Bend. If I only had the original Data I could do tons more =P.

On a side note. I have the domian darkhavenwvw.com registered right now for what ever site / forums we decide to go with .

I don’t want you guys to defend to be honest. You bust up the enemy too well. 30 second Gate Crashes are epic.

That’s were coordination comes in for others to hold captured points and build up defenses. Especially important will be defending the Orbs of Power in the next match up so the server as at whole isn’t at a disadvantage.

Don’t get me wrong, when your Golem Army is up and you are zerging around the map you guys do great work. However, at there was no defense plans. Your offensive capabilities are fantastic while your Golems are up with the element of surprise and fast Gate breaks and circling around the map capturing. It’s a great 2 hours of attack.

There just needs to be defensive plans. If matches lasted 2 hours you guys would be the Top Offensive WvW guild.

I support this completely.

It’s very late for me as well as I’m EDT time zone, so it will be 2 AM.

However, our larger Darkhaven Off-Peak Guilds will be there to represent. One of which is HVN which is hosting for Free the Darkhaven Server WvW Vent server. Which is great for our servers communication and getting organized.

That was fun =) And we ninja’d the orb with 4 people from Pak and HVN after 2 failed attempts. We would have had it the first time, but the orb carrier ran the wrong way at the fork. heheh. [RE] did all of the work setting up the Golems. Thanks Again Ethersin

@TheFreshBrew hello, this thread is for discussion for those that wish to improve the community and WvW of the Darkhaven Server. If you do not wish to be apart of it please do not post in this thread. There are plenty of threads in which you can post your frustration with the current state of WvW.

This is still a work in progress and have been testing with some people. This along with Server Voice Chat will help. I still have to buy a true domain name and some added touches. It was just a quick and dirty setup to get the ball rolling.

As far as Guild Shifts are concerned, I know my guild is a 5PM EDT – 2AM EDT Guild. We working adults and or in college and there is no way we would be able to help a shift starting before or after that time frame with any type of force.

We have a good reserve of gold right now, however I have been holding off on purchasing the Commander Book as the Benefits just are not there IMO for a 100 gold book. Coin is better spent on siege and tower / keep upgrades.

Anyone know if Darkhaven currently has a open Vent or Mumble server? I just need to know before we pull the trigger on setting one up for Darkhaven.

Pak has a licensed TeamSpeak server. However it’s private and can’t be used for those purposes. So I’m looking at possible setting up a 40 person vent or mumble server for Darkhaven WvW with one of my guildies Phalse.
