Hi All,
Currently on the character selection screen you can only preview your characters wearing PvE armour. I do have Level 80’s with nice looking gear, but my focus has turned to sPvP in a big way.
In this sense I have some kitten looking characters in PvP armour sets that I can’t preview in character selection. Instead I see them in thier starting armour and this hurts my hard-fought Self-kitten.
I would love to see an option to preview PvP armour in the character selection screen! I hope this could be implemented, and I am sure It cant be a major time sink!

Hello everyone.
I’d like to welcome you to my thread on Guardian Burst Damage. Firstly… whomever believes in this false pretence that anything lower than 17k-18k HP on a Guardian is a fail build please don’t read on. Your continued ignorance is really not progressive OR healthy. You can do anything damage orientated at 14k just as well or better with smart play! That and with casual play/hot join this build is good but you will get Zerg’d.
My explanation behind the (Updated) build:
Now in sPvP this build thrives when you run with a point defender/supportive team-mate. Let him/her run in and soak up the aggro from other players(He/her is your distraction) With that in mind, most people look to Guardians as defensive…they will not know what has hit them when you sneak in and burst them down.
Ok so you don’t always need that ally to assist you in fights, but there can be a timeline that you must burst your target down before some utilities simply run out, or in fact your enemies are back off cd. This build is more than capable of 1v1’s/2v1’s!
Whilst the choices in Zeal/Valor/Radiance are obvious, the 20 points in Virtues is an incredible god-send. Do NOT ignore these benefits when tweaking. You don’t need to tweak I’ve done that for you!
Rather than going in too much detail let me explain the way I “Rotate” my abilities..
Open with the GS. Do not use Judges Intervention immediately, this is your only break-stun. (However you can use this as a shock to tele to a squishie target and take them out of the fight early). Leap at your target and start with Binding Blade whilst activating VoC & VoJ & then pull in your targets to use Whirling Wrath.
Now you have just given yourself Protection/Stability/1.5k Burn/Retaliation and you are currently nuking down a whole team in a well placed pull. On top of this you can also use “Purging Flames” for condition removal and additional burn damage. You are now an AoE powerhouse!
If at any point you find yourself in trouble result back to your meditations and roughly a 4k heal. JI to get out of a sticky spot, and SC for condition removal.
Following this the enemy are going to know what you are capable of… by switching to your Sword/Torch you now get to apply the pressure on a single target! (One would hope it’s marked/already & low from your initial burst). Blink to you target and activate VoJ and use Zealots Defence for more burst. If your target is starting to range you use your torches 4th skill in hand with the whole 5th skill. What I mean by the whole 5th skill is that you have 10 ticks of damage that can vary between 1-5k a hit. Self explainitory really.
