My complaint about raids is how it destroys the idea of the “no trinity” in GW2, because now there’s one: Chronomancer, PS Warrior and Druid. Basically if you don’t have these, you’re not getting anywhere aside the easy encounters like VG, Trio or Escort and that’s a big shame.

They’re beatable without those… People are too blinded by the meta to do other things though. I haven’t read a single guide or watched a single video about raid content so I don’t know metas or anything when I would raid.

I don’t get how people who profess not to know anything about raids or care a hoot about raids, form opinions on how to beat them.

Have the same issue, the character selection screen loads, but map loading gets stuck, and transits into the error message.

EDIT: tried the repair thingy, halfway through the dialogue stopped responding. Closed it, and tried loading the game again – this time it worked.

Actually, HoT maps are not made with the idea of solo faceroll at its core – I agree that a lot of the HPs can’t be solo’d, but having just 1-3 others are sufficient in most cases.

In fact, in maps like Tarir and TD, most zergs will pass by the hero points, and are more than happy to help with them.

As for roaming, HoT maps shouldn’t be a big problem if you know your profession well – I died to raptors quite a bit at the beginning, but learning to chain blocks, evades or just gliding over them made them just a minor nuisance.

Regarding the z-axis on the map, I think Anet tried to put in something to that effect – there’s the depth bar on the right, but I do really agree that it is difficult to use.

I have just noticed a rather bewildering issue yesterday while doing the events at Auric Basin. While most runs had no issue, there was an instance where the map event progress was at 80% in tier 3, and a number of us just got teleported (it showed us the loading screen as though I have waypointed, even though I have not) into a completely empty tier 1 map, resulting in us losing all personal progress. I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered a similar occurrence?

P.S. A number of people in the same map was saying something about pylon activation being bugged for West, not sure if that’s an issue in itself since I was unable to verify.

Bugged for me as well. Hope to get some heads up about this, since it blocks off story progression, unlike a standalone that can simply be ignored.
