I’ve been playing the game fine for weeks and I was playing earlier today. I got off for a couple of hours and when I came back whenever I tried to open via my desktop icon I would get a message that said it could not find GW2.exe.
Fine, so I click the “Browse” option for a quick fix, but as soon as I click it it crashes my windows explorer. Thought that was weird, whatever, so I go into the hard drive to manually start GW2 from there but the INSTANT I click on the Guild Wars 2 folder my Windows Explorer just goes to Not Responding and it crashes and restarts.
I can open every thing else in that hard drive and I can load every thing else on the desktop. I don’t even have to double click, the instant I even single click on the folder it crashes. I can’t even drag the folder to the recycle bin to reinstall cause it crashes right away too.
Tried going through the control panel and it said “there was an error and the the program may have already been removed. do you want to remove it from the programs list?”
i changed nothing, downloading nothing, just let the computer sit for a couple hours from the last time i was on earlier today.
wth is going on?
EDIT: So I just tried clicking on it again and the entire folder just disappeared…. it’s no where to be found. I never deleted it and it’s not in the recycle bin…
