Bah, stupid 15 character limit, I don’t even won’t to post anymore
Edit: ok didn’t realise that the first post went through….
Nevermind… asjdlkncwasjkdnlwcjankjsdn to fill the 15-character limit
Pretty sure Guardians don’t have these ‘shadow steps’ you’re talking about, unless you mean the sword #2 teleport or JI.
Sword #2 and Judges Intervention are both shadow steps.
In fact, Guards are the slowest class, on average, in my opinion.

Building for mobility over other aspects is a choice, obviously if you don’t build for it you will be slower. That does not mean guardians are “the slowest, on average”, they’re very fast when they want to be.[/quote]
Ok, I didn’t realise S2 and JI were known as shadow-steps (still fairly new here), so thanks for clarifying that.
Also, are you saying that guards can choose to build for mobility? We can slot Retreat for the swiftness and use Staff #3, as well as using Sword 2 and JI on NPCs to teleport across distances instantly, but that’s about it. Other classes (namely Thief and Warrior) have a multitude of leaps, rushes, shadow steps and teleports that can get them away from zergs with ease…
- If the guardian doesn’t use their shadow steps.

I may be wrong, but I remember hearing somewhere that Anet raised the server population caps recently, for the T1 servers at least, which would explain them no longer being ‘full’.
Eh, I don’t think CD is too bad, we’ve downed Tequatl heaps in overflow and main, plus we do Temple runs fairly often (on weekends at least). Though I admit, we’re not the best when it comes to LS events, what with all the pugs kitten ing around, etc.
I have a bit of an odd question today…
I have all the components needed to make either Foefire’s Essence or Foefire’s Power (except the GS blades or Hammer heads), but I can’t decide between the two, mainly because the preview panel doesn’t give me a good idea of what my character will look like wielding either weapon.
So my question is, can anyone link a Norn similar in size and outfit to mine (even hair style, if possible), wielding either FE or FP?
So…what exactly is the point of this? I mean, why the hell is this ‘feature’ in game?
I was up to the last fractal on scale 25, and my group had been making our way through fairly well, yet it still took us a good hour and half to get to where we were…then the party leader/instance opener just left.
It wasn’t even a DC, the guy just left party!
I’ve only been here for about a month now, so there might be a reason why Anet has this ‘feature’ in game that I’m not aware of, which is what my question is.
If there isn’t, well… I may as well leave the game if I’m going to risk wasting hours of my time due to kittens who decide they want to do something else or whatever.
