I need to add…I am a deaf player. An additional problem I have is I tend to be marginalized in communities that are highly voice comm focused as that’s where most of the social/communication seems to happen. So, when you factor in the fact that people have to get to know me a bit to really be interested with interacting off voice comms and the turnover rate…GW2 is a very difficult fit for someone like me.
I really like GW2 BUT the community seems to turn over a lot. No one I started with still plays and social in these kinds of games is important to me. I find I am solo or PUGing when I play and lose interest in this sort of play really fast to the point that I barely play this game anymore.
Is there is a guild out there on ANY server with a decent number of people that have made GW2 their main game / that plan on playing this regularly for the long term?
