So I finally got my [Tarrktun Personal Delivery Portal]. And I decided to play a few rounds during the pvp queueing time. But when I bought one [Dab of Destabilized Ectoplasm], I couldn’t open it! Why Anet? Isn’t the whole purpose of getting the portal that you can play it everywhere? Is it intended or a bug?
ah, any idea about the fix patch time?
It is very specific. The game never crashes in Core Tyria. And it crashes just a little in other HoT maps. But in Dragon Stand, it crashes every now and then when I reached the final fight with Morfremoth’s mouth. The crash mostly happens when it has 30% hp left. I think there maybe a memory leak at this point. Can someone here look at the details and see if there is a solution?
Just to make you feel better. I had 3 crashes in the last fight in Dragon Stands and got no rewards. It seems to crash more frequently on these HoT maps. On the core Tyria maps, I don’t really have these problem.
update, it finally poped up with Gannicus
method. But the download speed is zero now.
I am having the exact same OS and the exact same problem.
I tried the thing you said. it didn’t help. GW2 still didn’t pop up after opening. it is stuck at the dock and needs force quit to close too.
fellow mac users, try this solution.
I would like for you to delete the Guild Wars 2 folder located within your users Library folder. You can do this by following the instructions below:
Click on the “Finder” icon located in your dock or the desktop of your computer.
Hold down the “Option” key on your keyboard while clicking “Go” in the Finder menu bar. A dropdown will appear.
While still holding down the “Option” key, click on “Library” in the “Go” dropdown.
Once in the Library folder, open “Application Support” and locate the Guild Wars 2 folder.
Move the entire Guild Wars 2 folder to the trash and then empty the trash.
NOTE – If you are unable to locate this folder, it is possible you are looking in the incorrect “Library” folder. As your system has multiple “Library” folders, please try the steps again to locate the proper folder. The next time you launch Guild Wars 2 it will create a new version of the folder that you deleted. Please try this and see if it resolves your issue.
I did this and my client works now. yay!
Hi,
I am having the same problem.
My guess is that the new Yosemite update is ruining the cider port. I think they need to modify it a little.
Hope they can see this.
