Stowing your pet is no longer usable. Button is there, nothing happens.
Also, if you spectate a Ranger in a game, your client crashes.

Fix is needed.

Custom arena modifying to admins too?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Magica.8136

When making/buying a custom arena, I have an idea that could actually work on a daily basis:

1) When adding admins, they could then see the layout too what you actually see, as in remaining time and could setup the server it as I would, check point 2.

2) Additional layout to setup the preferences to each person what they can do and what not on the server layout window, message of the day etc. -> a tap on / off option as in guild panels for the members too. Server buyer should be the person to choose what other players are able to do on the panel.

3) The server buyer should be the only one who can add additional admins and or / remove them. Admins on the other hand, could add/remove members/guilds to the servers as they would like.

4) Server full privileges could be given to another person like in the guild panel too. From the buyer to another person, just like that, as in with promote option (what we actually had in GW1 Guild panel aswell)

We, as a guild find it very hard at the moment to handle the server preferences since one person (which is me) can only modify it, and I’m not being online every single day. There’s times when I’m out a month or two, 1-4 weeks, which makes it hard to handle.

I’ve been wondering, why only one person can see the layout, and other admins can only use the interface commands when entering to the server. That doesn’t make any sense to me in general. It should be like I presented above. All admins should be able to see the custom arena layout and modify the server settings as they will based on what the buyer has set on them from the panel (privileges).

Tough to make it happen I guess. Let’s hope the panel will be seen on more than one player in the future.

This all would be great to have.

The current modifying system isn’t supporting more than one person, hopes up bois’n’girls.

Yeah, well played ArenaNet. Can I say, Welcome to Guild Wars 2 HoT Alpha v. 0.5 Just keep having your client open at all hours, do not exit to desktop since after that all your general settings will be reset. Have fun till the update comes out, keep your computers alive and open 24/7 ! Enjoy your gameplay with your own settings.

Keg Brawl - Assist

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

Magica.8136

Edit:

Found a way to master it. Tried more combinations and the thing I’m about to explain, read the text below.

Keg assists work like this: throw the keg to an ally and let him/her return it = 1 point / 1000 points, which will be the max for that one. Other achievements, I guess you know how to obtain them.

Hope this helps.

Mouse movement issues, I have an idea!

Hey to everyone!

Since the very first Guild Wars 2 beta, I have been wondering one thing. Why there is no mouse click movements implemented in the game as Guild Wars 1 had ? I’m pretty sure, I’m not the only person missing this feature from the game. Is there any specific reason to leave it out ?

To clarify, this “old” feature would have huge change in the game, both in enjoying and having multiple ways to play the game differently than with “arrow keys” only. By this, I mean normally W, S, A, D for up, down, turn left, turn right and strafe buttons Q and E combined with mouse 1 (camera movement only) + mouse 2 buttons (camera and character movements).

This so called old feature would affect both in PvE and PvP gaming and at the same time give a new perspective to the game.

PS. When swimming, mouse click movements would cause an issue though, so maybe that’s the reason not to have it around in this game. Who knows.

What do you all think ?

PS. Sorry for posting this to bug area, but it’s an issue I want the answer for!

Regards,

Mag

Hmmh, then all you have to do is, just visit every single map once again. By this way, you should get the rewards. Gaile Gray posted a solution to this issue on the Bug forums.

Happy gaming!

Solution: Chantry of secrets, Deadend Waypoint in Bloodtide Coast. Go south of it, through the asura portal, and all done after that.

I have been having the same problems, and this part is not working at all. I mean, same thing happens even with the survivor title, both in normal and monthly achievements. I think that part isn’t either implemented, or then it’s coming on the future updates (like halloween 2012 along with the other things). You never know, what happens. Have patience. I’ll work someday. I don’t consider this as a bug what you mentioned, just as a non-implemented thing. Sad, but true. Arenanet can give answers to this matter, and I hope they see this issue without having a need to post a bug report through support.
