Movable skills on skillbar

I’m positive this has been brought up many a time before, but please allow us to move the 5 abilities around. Some of us with reduced mobility in our hands have a tough time with this + the emphasis on weapon swapping, and it makes for a frustrating and occasionally painful experience to play your game. I’m enjoying the game, but would very much like the 5 abilities to be able to be moved around for each weapon set.

You could even make it a micro-transaction; $10 to have more customizable skillbar — I’d pay double that to have a little more customization.

Please reconsider for those of us who could really use this change.

Thank you.

Completely agree. The inability to move skills on the skillbar is frustrating at best. I have no problems with a limited number of abilities on the skillbar, but what possible reason would they limit your ability to just swap their location within those 5 slots?

I don’t think they considered those of us who have mobility problems already. What if you’re a war vet missing several fingers, but still have an interest in playing the game? What if you have carpal tunnel and have limited use of specific fingers, but every time you swap a weapon your key config goes to hell?

Or how about, what if you’re just used to playing every MMO ever with use of specific fingers and are looking for a solid reason why they’ve decided to make the game less customizable?

I don’t even…

Ok, I guess that’s what I was looking for, unfortunately. Thank you for replying.

I’m brand new to Guild Wars 2 and I’m looking at the skillbar wondering how I can re-arrange the layout without redoing my keyconfig. That’s not really an issue for one weapon set, but as I understand it, this game pretty much requires you to have multiple weapon sets to be effective later on and if you’re stuck with a default set up, that seems unnecessarily inconvenient in an MMO made in 2012.

That being said, I feel like there must be something I’m missing, because it is after all 2012 and there seems to me to be one of two options; either…

1) I’m a clueless noob and can’t figure out how to move my skills around (most likely), or
2) ArenaNet doesn’t realize it’s 2012

If it’s the latter, can anyone tell me how I would go about getting a refund?

Thank you for any help, because it’s making me a little frustrated/annoyed/crazy so far and I’d love to keep playing without that aspect of it.
