Guild Wars 2

I keep disconnecting from PvP matches and I don’t know why. It doesn’t happen in other parts of the game or even in the PvP lobby; it only happens in the matches themselves. Specifically I have been disconnected in Legacy of the Foefire three times and the Battle of Kyhlo once.

When I was disconnected from Foefire the first two times it completely screwed up my DNS connection to the point that I had to reset it just to get Internet access again. The third time the screen turned black and I wasn’t even able to log back into GW2 until several minutes later; it was so bad I assumed a local server had crashed or something as I still had Internet access this time. Kyhlo was much quicker; I only disconnected for about 10 seconds before I was able to play again. I wasn’t disconnected from the Internet either, just the game itself.

As far as I can recall it has never happened in Stronghold, only Conquest and only those two maps so far. I am running the latest version of Windows 10 Home Edition with an Intel Core 2 Quad CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce GT 610. I couldn’t find another topic about this but if it has been answered before please let me know; I’d really like to stop getting desertions and losing pips.
