Just got a copy paste response, after waiting for 5 days. I really hope this isn’t indicative of the kind of CS arenanet provides.

I put all my silver in my bank last night when i logged and its still there, so hopefully it will be safe there until they fix this bug. It’s pretty annoying that I have to make sure to visit the bank before logging out but I guess its better than losing all my money.

I have checked all my characters, the money is not there. I have never transfered money between my characters.

This is either one of two things, a bug whereby my money is being deleted., or an extremely elaborate hacking attempt where some advanced ip spoofing/tunneling technology is involved. I am not like to hear hoofbeats and think zebra so I have submitted a ticket and hope to get this matter resolved soon with all due haste.

First off, there has been NO suspicious IP activity on my account security. The only IP shown for me are mine and I am the only one in the household who uses a computer.

Second, I haven’t purchased any large amount of items from the trading post that would suggest a delayed buy scenario. I do not have any pending buy orders, I do not have any items waiting to be delivered, and to the best of my knowledge every single item in my inventory/bank is exactly the same and even in the same slot position. There is no money in my bank and I have never deposited any.

The first time this happened i logged back on and I had zero money whatsoever. That was extremely odd because it would be very hard to spend every last copper I had. I chalked it up to me forgetting where I spent it and moved on. The second time it happened I was in the underwater cavern over in Eukaryan Caverns and I know I had at bare minimum 1 piece of silver, but I am very sure it was between 15-30 silver. The third time it happened (just a few minutes ago) I logged on and immediately checked my money, sure enough all my silver was gone and I had made sure to take a mental note of the 20+ silver I had before logging out previously.

I know the amount of money is trivial, its the fact of the matter that my money keeps dissapearing that is very frustrating. It does not bode well for my long term playability of this game if my wealth is prone to random deletion and I am very close to just giving up and asking for a refund. However, I know as a newly released online game there are going to be bugs and I hope I can get some help with this matter quickly before I make such a drastic decision.

I have lost all my silver from my inventory TWICE now. First time I thought maybe I had spent it without remembering it (not likely but stranger things have happened). Now it happened again this morning, I log out for a couple hours to go eat and shop and when i come back I have no silver and only 26 copper when I know for a fact I had at the absolute bare minimum 1 piece of silver, though I am positive I was in the 15-30 range….

Nothing was bought or sold, nothing was missing from my inventory, the IP addresses are normal in my security tab, and i was logged out in an area with no vendors in sight (Eukryan Caves past the underwater tunnel)
